Red Ridge | Best Winter Trail in Kananaskis Rockies

Located in Kananaskis, Alberta, Red Ridge is the most stunning winter trail in the Rockies mountains. We were extremely fortunate to be able to visit this incredible mountain on such a sunny day, even though we experienced a minus 26-degree morning temperature in the mountains. Overlooking at spray lakes from the ridge, I felt like I was immersed in the beautiful nature and never wanted to leave. It is highly highly recommended to any experienced hikers. Be prepared for snow hiking conditions. So, bring your snowshoes and microspikes. You will not regret waking up early and head to the mountains on a winter day.
