@@calibby85 her finances are certainly thankful to Marvel but as far as making satisfying work im sure she was over it even before the Black Widow movie
@@itszaaaamzeh I doubt that… like a lot, have you seen how emotional it was for her to be on the set of black widow, the fact she hunted down the director because she knew it was the right one and wasn't gonna take no for an answer. Not to mention it clearly wasn't lost on her that Natasha and Scarlett have a daughter with the same name…
@@millimoi4559 I'm not aware of any Natasha Romanoff offspring named "Rose" but if you're aware of something I'm not then I'd be delighted to be enlightened. As for the emotional/director comments, I'm sure there's emotion in letting go of a character after playing them for over a decade. That emotion can co-exist being emotionally ready to move on from the blockbuster business of marvel. And to the hunting down director comments, that just sounds like promo fluff, Cate Shortland doesn't have a very extensive filmography that seems like it really speaks to espionage superhero movie.
@@itszaaaamzeh Name of the Rose- one of the most well known Black Widow comic storylines. It was written in 2010. I mean, believe what you want but we’re talking about someone who REALLY wanted that role, had a huge connection to the character and was really sad to see them go. In regards to wanting Cate, If you can’t at least believe much of what actors say on interview and what is said about them then no one can comment on anything we know. Not trying to argue, just pointing out everything ties to her marvel experience being about passion for the project and character- something I think everyone who has worked with Scarlett has agreed she has.
They both seem to be a bit tired and out of it. From reading the comments apparently they do alot of these interviews on the same day and I can definitely tell they seem ready to be done with it. Funniest subtle reaction is seeing Scarlett pull her mouth in at close to 6:55 seconds into this interview because the interviewer mentioned "some people might consider this to be the best of Wes Anderson movies". Its a bit clear she disagreed immediately.
Just saw the movie, I'm a big Anderson fan. I think it's his strangest movie yet. My biggest criticism is that he kept interjecting the alternate black and white scenes which interrupted the pace of the film. Bryan Cranston's scenes where he narrates all have this pause that's too long which again is disruptive to the pace.
these guys did a lot of interviews but found the interviewer a bit under prepared and annoying not knowing the not everyone is a Marvel star (thank god for that)
are we about to be punished for realising we are not Judaic Christianity and that the entire books involved are a warmongering source of discontenting mildew that has since gained a ceaseless attachment upon the lips and minds of non thinking judgmentalists? Ashoka of Pataliputra got it right.
This whole interview was Hella cringe… it felt like they weren’t really comfortable with each other at all like they might have gotten into an argument prior to the interview… and I’m really sorry, but what happened to Jason Schwartzman… he doesn’t look very good
They shoot all these interviews on the same day. Seemed fine to me. But it could just be that this was interview #13 of 20 and they were doing their best to answer the same questions. I don't know.
This film has a real Oscar win feel to it. It's Wes's time to shine
it's a masterpiece for sure
0 nomintions :'(
Scarlett deserves better than Marvel.
I bet she and her finances disagree

i could listen to her for hours (i already do)
As in Scarlett’s voice in general or in Spike Jonze’s masterpiece “her”?
"I'm sick of his face, i want to hear his voice." Yeah, she rules.
real
They both did a tremendous job!
Scarlett is so pretty!!! Like her smileee!!
I loved everything about this film, not least the many close ups of Scarlett Johansson. She's so beautiful.
I LOVE SCARLETT JOHANSSON MY LIFE ❤❤❤❤
It's so interesting to see Jason Schwartzman just be himself, no acting :)
Asteroid city was awesome, better than any marvel movie I’ve seen
This makes me want to see this movie even more, practical effects.
It was so good! Did you watch it
Even the roadrunner was practical which blew my mind
She was excellent in asteroid City
Yes exactly you are so remarkable scarlett Johansson 🙏🏿👑❤

So great to see Scarlett out of the BS fake 100 green screen marvel whirld
And WOW Jason is son of Talia Shire I just read on his Wiki
This was a bizarre movie
Much more normal than some psycho bizarre AI generated Disney computer pseudo remake project
@@NobuhikuObayashi huh?
wow She does a lot of bling stuff.
Did he just say “sharted”?😂

Apparently Jason is another actor who can't stand to hear the name "Marvel"
He is peak pretension
Baby's first interview?
Anything which relies heavily on cgi is yuuuck! So glad people are embracing real filmmaking again.
Meow
So hoow do you feel about being in Marvel universe...oh you werent in Marvel universe, Ok, moving on
Even if she doesn’t do marvel movies anymore, it would be so dope to do other movies with her former avengers cast mates
POWDER!
