  • I was very nerves, but this plane is super easy to fly, I'm glad I did it!

    @ 1:26 - What a great guy! Tyler pays for an absolute GEM of a plane to be built from scratch (costing Time and TONS of money), then makes Ramy fly it, knowing full well Ramy is dying to do it, but doesn't have the heart to ask.       This RC C-17 wasn’t scratch built by TP and his team. It was originally built by a British team a long time ago and sold to someone else before TP bought it.

      ​@@LuvEvolution7 from the control servos to the batteries to the e jets and the tough printed filament that the body is made of and alot of other stuff that's pretty important. I would say (educated guess, feel free to correct me ) somewhere between 1800 or 4000 it sound alot but considering , it's probably reasonable for what the plane is, it might even be more to be honest , i underestimated so it doesn't look crazy.

      @@nerfgodbigguy1405 one of the Schübeler DS-215 HST engines alone is starting @ 4300,- $ without esc... And the whole wing and fuselage is made out of hotwired foam, with several layers of carbon fibre. The machines / tools bought especially for this build...

      @@horsthorst482 so I was right to begin with because I predicted 10k ( still not enough coming from what you said) really shows how much he put into this project , do you think he's going to paint it and make it look cool ( also it would be cool if he added an FPV camera , that would be sick)

    The nerves are a side of you I haven’t seen before. But I couldn’t be happier seeing you go for it! You really are a great flyer and an exceptional builder! There is NO ONE else in the world doing what you’re doing. You’re nearly singlehandedly defining your portion of the hobby. Higher, farther, faster!

    Ramy's landings used to be a bit sketchy but he's mastering it now. For the biggest RC planes he's ever flown, landings don't get much better than that. Sweet build too. 🙂

    I know there has been others to say it, BUT Tyler inspires confidence and the way he talks REALLY HELPS remain calm. I know he has an incredibly creative mind BUT this shows a completely different side and that is awesome! I am glad he shows that he is a super cool guy that would be fun to know. He seems so humble, Thank you for letting us live vicariously through your builds!!!

    Ramy, that is an amazing aircraft. Congratulations to you and Mr. Perry on this incredible build! My Dad actually worked on the tooling on parts of the full-scale C-17 (nacelles and the tail section at Vought Aircraft in Texas) and I so wish he was still here to see this video, he would have said bravo!!

    Tyler is guiding with an extraordinary understanding of how real aircraft approach and land. Most who fly RC fly the airplane to the ground powering out when it's time to land. Tyler is directing a descent profile more like real airplanes fly where the flare commands the speed reduction. Well done!

    Wow! Just wow! This huge plane just popped up as I searched for my daily dose of rc and then notice Tylor Perry in the video. Now I have to watch this series from the beginning to see what Tylor Perry has to do with this. It’s definitely great to see him taking part in the hobby.

    Great flying Ramy! Glad TP pushed you to enjoy the fruits of your labor. The sheer SIZE of that thing - it's every bit as impressive as the giant Concorde - and it's not even finished.
    Amazing achievement from the master CEO and the master builder. I hope TP commissions more builds like this.
