indeed. the taking of a life, even for sustenance, is a serious thing. beautiful, but serious. and when you do and you sit back satiated with the energy that your own hand brought you there is hardly a better feeling. i often think too about the plants i pluck from the ground and consume. the cycle of living is a powerful thing. this song portrays those feeling wonderfully.
i was at that fest to. coincidentally enough i got the same promo cd passed out. te band was brand new that year but fooled me. i thought they played together for years........nope. fate.
not sure... I don't really like this song, I just came across it because of something I overheard a coworker mentioning to someone else about it. This isn't really my cup of tea, but I don't know why the hell anyone would give it a thumbs down. It's obviously a talented group of people making music that people enjoy, even if I don't enjoy it myself i'll still give it a thumbs-up
