as a returning player who lost all his operations and groups i appreciate the information i couldnt for the life of me remember how i needed to set up operations
I found this video yesterday. I want to say thank you. I was having issues using crafting percentages in my auction operations where I was the only one posting and my server's and the market value was way to high compared to regional as to where nobody was buy my items. I took your advice from this tutorial and made the adjustments. Right after I did that I pulled in a half a million in just 4 hours yesterday and still going strong. Great video.
so the title says its only 2 tsm operations you need? did you link the operations/groups anywhere so we can actually easily copy them and import them that would have been real help
The point of the video is to help get you comfortable tinkering with your own setting by showing you my basic starting point. Providing an import would defeat the point. I show the exact settings I use in the video so you should be able to set them up yourself. ( I have tons of market specific variants of the basic operations in this video spread out over my other videos).
If I'm just now getting into gold making and learning it, are the legendaries even worth it at this point or would it cost way too much to even level them up from scratch?
This is an addon that I have, but have never been able to use it for selling nor flipping. Despite checking many videos i dont know why but the stuff rarely sells.
Is this for tbc aswell? If not please make a vid for tbc. I have used tsm for 1 day now and i am trying the 80% avg(dbmarket, dbregionmarketavg) But the Items i post does not go out for 80%, there is something i dont understand!
This works just as well in TBC as it does in retaeil, I've used these two basic operations settings since Legion, and they've worked in classic, tbc classic, Legion, BfA and Shadowlands.
@@TheLazyGoldmaker Almost 2 months after starting with TSM in TBC and flipping alone i have made about 45k gold after starting on 1700 gold the day i made the first comment. I still learn and improove everyday and love it! Thank you for helping people to get started :)
Hey can you help me out with an operation for wotlk classic. I don't wana dive deep i just want a simple auction listing one to slightly undercut on market price. thanks
I enjoyed the video. would like to see a #default operation that will safely let me post anything without going too low or positing it too much. For example, how do I set the maximum number of posts to be vendersell price + the deposit for the number of times ive posted it - meaning that if I have to vendor an item, I have not spent more on deposits than the value of the item plus its vendorsell price so I don't lose more money than I would have if I just vendored it.
I don't think it's good to make one operation that covers everything. numexpires is a source that gives you the number of expires. The deposit cost for a 48 hour listing is 60% of the vendorsell price. You can use that to make the operation invalid or if the numexpires exceeds a numbers. Personally I just completely avoid selling any item where something like this would be useful. If the price isn't at least 4x vendor price then I don't try selling in on the AH unless I know it sells incredibly fast.
These crafting costs for auctioning operations really doesn't work for selling old crafted gear as transmog. Selling shirt for 20g instead of the region avg of 150g+
Yeah, you would want a higher max price for some crafted cosmetic markets, these settings wont be perfect for everything, but they will get you a profit, and work well in a lot of cases.
Love the guide been looking for a simple one like this. One question, which operation would I use for reagents I've gathered? And which for transmogs I've found in dungeons/raids?
I don't have any preference for those as I don't farm, and I can't tell you what to value your time at. SOmething like min 80% dbmarket, normal 100%, max 200% can work for both in terms of pricing.
Hello everyone, does anyone know how to create a shopping operation which will only display items above a certain dbregionsalerate? I tried ifgte(dbregionsalerate, 1.00) - It is a valid string but it doesnt produce the desired result!
You need to add some actual max prices to your string. ifgte(dbregionsalerate,1.00,dbmarket,1c) would set the max price to anything with a lower sale rate to 1c so they would all be at the absolute bottom of the results page. then for anything above 1.0 in sale rate it would use dbmarket as the maximum shopping price.

Nice! Congrats on the half a million!
But where are the remaining operations? I have mining reagents to sell and I don't know what's the best operation :(
Thank you for the video! Can't prospect ore. Written missing ingredients (
great video, i will try to use them in tbc

how do i turn off the default on operation in tsm?
Very nice! Ty

Probably too expensive to level them from scratch now, but impossible to tell.
Legendary crafted SL items only need to be at rank 1 so not really expensive. The mog appearance is the same for all ranks.

That's some seriously impressive numbers for TBC! Looks like you can buy whatever gear you need in wrath! Fantastic work!

Just using the default operation can work well, or one of the two listed in this video depending on if it's a crafted item or not.

@@TheLazyGoldmaker Thanks! How do you think the region wide AH change affect tsm?
@@ghostidian Hard to say until it's live, but the addon will have to adapt for sure.
I tried this for my SL legos but the crafting cost is sooo high but not what my actual crafting cost is how do you account for this?
It should be correct for legendaries with 4.11. You'll have to check the material prices to see if any of them are off kilter.
