"the most beautiful movie you've probably never heard of" - YES. It's a travesty how unknown this movie is. It NEVER fails to make me emotional. Such a wonderful movie and a great tribute!
For me the story of Roy and Alexandria is the story of a fairy tale transported to real life, the inspiration of the director is that of a writer based on the people around him to write an epic through the innocent eyes of Alexandria .
This film is the most beautiful I have ever seen, without a doubt.
I wish they had included more footage and information about Evelyn the nurse, as Justine Wadell looked majestic in this movie, it would have been interesting to see Roy & Evelyn's interactions in real life through the girl.
It is Lee Pace's best film, and he has them exemplary.

this is such a piece of work, thank you for sharing this with us. i really really love the sequence and buildup of the edit, the choice of song and voice-overs included are so spot on. this movie is truly something else, i remember watching it back then and the way he narrated the story was so captivating and i felt like i was the kid bc when the truth is revealed, it was so fucking sad and devastating. it's true when u said this is one of the most beautiful movies ever made/seen. it's just so much of beauty that i can't even put words into it. brb gonna rewatch them
