I have been watching conventions for over sixty years. This one had the most unity and heart, BY FAR.

And Fitz (hottie Prez fr SCANDAL TV series) as master of ceremonies was a treat!
And God Bless Hillary!! I voted for her! And my vote for Kamala will be in tribute to Hillary Clinton for the egregious wrongs that derailed her candidacy.
She'd have been magnificent and the US is lesser for that awful error of her loss.

I love seeing all the love Biden and our beautiful first lady received from that crowd We will always love Uncle Joe because he is everything our country needed at the moment and he was not too selfish to pass the torch to Kamala and it was great. I love hearing Rachel, Lawrence, Chris and Jen, and Stephanie, who all showed how our president's speech made them all feel emotional and so genuine this is the MSNBC I know and love no bashing of our President.
CNN wasn't very forgiving, and fairly brutal. Tired of them. Love Rachel, and plan on not watching CNN much, if at all. Still, love me some Anderson Cooper (among one or two others). Hate CNN's "new" direction.

I was so pumped up after watching and listening to everyone's speeches especially President Biden I couldn't hardly sleep. I wept tears of joy and hope last night knowing that there's a future and we as a nation are going to move forward ❤️🤍💙!

I'm proud how us as citizens worked so hard through the pandemic and kept each other as safe as possible. I can remember how scared I was, as I work in assisted living homes. We were among the first to receive the vaccine, and I got mine with tears rolling down my face. Thank you all, and lets continue to be great Americans.

I can’t imaging how hard it must have been to live through that experience while 45 refused to hand out COVID shots and 700,000 died of it overnight, and 400,000 died because of the late roll out. The worst delivery in the western world. It must have felt like you lived under a terrorist.
I had my oldest sister get COVID at the beginning of the disaster and thought we were going to lose her. My little sister is a nurse. I was very afraid for my family and my grandbabies going to school. A truly terrifying time. 😢

Same here, Anita, from an American retired in France for the last 32 years, it is the most emotional I've ever felt about politics. Well, on the positive side, I mean. The emotions of the last 8 years have been much different, with so much trepidation and disgust at T's antics.
Hurry and get your arrangements made for your ballot! It depends on where you vote, of course, but if you have the misfortune to be in a red state, they could throw some monkey wrenches at you. I vote through WA, and if I wanted to I could download/print a ballot, fill it in, scan or photograph, and return it by email. You should ask if that's a choice, if you have a printer.

I understood Biden's reluctance to relinquish the Presidency as a desire to finish the job he started, not an egotistical grasping to retain power. Humility is a true mark of greatness. Joe Biden is a deeply humble man and I will never cease thanking God he ran for, and won the 2020 election. It felt like a 1,000 pound weight lifted off of our collective shoulders the night he was declared the president. I cried with relief and praised God. Kamala and Tim Walz are light and hope going forward. What love I witnessed in tonight's Convention was not just hopeful and uplifting, but a spiritual demonstration of love in action. Well done. ❤

Explain what was so incredible having Joe as President. Was it the open borders, was it the wars, was it high gas prices, was it about pulling out of the middle east and leaving all of that equipment behind, was it about the soldiers who died, was it about defunding the Police, was it about high food prices, high energy costs, high home prices, was it about giving millions of dollars to illegal migrants, billions of dollars to Ukraine to fight a war that is not our war. I have asked so many times to democrats what is so great right now, we have a major border problem, there are illegal people all over my city, I'm living paycheck to paycheck, what is so great. I never get a reply to that question.

Joe understands the assignment. If one actually reads the Bible and l tries to emulate Christ's example, it is immediately clear by their actions. I am not a Christian, but I know many really good people who are and I certainly know what the Bible says about who and what Jesus is. The people who shout their offense into the ether in the name of their religion give themselves away as not actually grasping the assignment at all.

As a person, I have always liked Joe. I was concerned about another Biden term. But as a mentor to Kamala, she could not have asked for a more suitable teacher. The current crop of young Dems are our future and I am so glad to see the "old guard" evolving as real humans do with time and knowledge. I was filled with trepidation before. And now a few weeks after Joe made the most profound sacrifice for the good of the country. And he was not messing around. My esteem for him as a person grew by an order of magnitude. I hope history remembers Joe as a real role model and American hero.

I have been watching convention ever since Barry Goldwater in 64 but as a person well aware of how politics works in this country since 1968. Been to a few in person. My health is so bad that i watched on PBS last night. I don't know if i would have sutbived last night just from the power of enthusiasm and joy. I have never seen anything like it. Awesome
