where do you live? Because I want to know if I can become an emt in canada when I go to university

Hi! It will definitely be tough. There will be a lot of studying and practicing skills. I would suggest making flash cards for the written portion and creating a study group to run over scenarios with classmates. Don’t be afraid to ask your instructors for help as they want you to succeed. Make sure you take notes/create a cheat sheet for you to look back on when you eventually get a job! i’m an EMT-b and one thing i can tell you is don’t over study. at the beginning of my class i would study for more than 6 hours a day and was failing every test. my instructor told me to study for no more than 30 minutes, i started doing that made 85 and over on the rest of them. it’ll be a little challenging but you can do it! :)

why are you no longer an EMT?
Some start then get a really bloody call or one involving a child that died and just go, that's it, I'm done. Nothing wrong with that, this is not a job for the faint of heart
