I just don’t see how Drake Maye or JJ McCarthy would ever be drafted before him. I’m a Texas fan, so it’s a non bias opinion. Those other dudes are good, yeah… but this man is the better QB. Give it two years, and this comment will be gold truth
Do you see the “defenses” Nix is throwing against. I mean it’s basically 7 on 7 pitch and catch. No pressure from the dline and wide open receivers. I’ll always say this, the pac-12 does NOT prepare players for the physicality of the NFL. Especially at qb.

This guy has it all. Except the frame that teams want. He has a laser for an arm. He can make any throw and a very quick release. He has that gritty aspect as well. Just the fight in him to win. Reminds me of a more athletic drew brees. I don’t know what people are smoking to have guys like JJ and drake Maye over him. This dude is gonna land somewhere and be special
Totally agree with all of this. He's a tad short but he can clearly make all the throws and quickly. I also don't believe Drake Maye could possibly be better than Nix. I hope he lands in Denver.
6 2 and 215 pounds isn't small. The dude got better and better as his career went on. Unlike Daniels who had 3 mediocre seasons and one huge season, Nix got better. Maye and Williams regressed last season. Bo got better and Better. I think teams will regret passing on him

Impressive combo of athleticism and decision making.
My Take I’m Bo Nix he has a great Arm, he’s accurate of ball placement , he good against Man Coversge , once he has a good pocket he’ll pick you apart , he’s good at check downs , he good in zone coverage , he’s good in play action I don’t really see any weakness other than he hold the ball a little to long but coaches can make fix that overall he’s one of my favorite QB prospect and can be a franchise QB will see I think either the Broncos Raiders or Falcons get him will see.

thats true, also there were a few passes that wouldnt fly on the nfl level, theyd be picked or swatted, but i still think he has that will and that intangible to make him a great quarterback in the NFL

Not really. Dudes presence in the pocket knowing he’s about to get blasted waiting for the right time to release not to mention mobility. Made a bunch of sick throws. Accurate/arm strength look just fine. Plenty to evaluate even from the couch regardless of how open his receivers were in some of these plays

He’s still hitting them in stride almost every time. Kid has good tape and will transition to NFL nicely.
First off, why the fuck are you "evaluating" a guy based on highlights? Second off, there were a lot of tight window throws, great timing throws hitting guys in stride, and back shoulder throws in this mix of plays that you have to credit to the QB.

Rumor has it Broncos want to move up for J Daniels, but thats pretty hard get. I think Nix will be available for them to pick and will be an impact player.
Honestly he reminds me of a young Russell Wilson. Both coming out of college seem to have a small issue with there progressions past the first read but there mobility will cover it up until it gets better. Hopefully.

@jonathanandrus6928 I understand , but we need to get this qb disaster figured out . The pieces will come with other picks maybe trade down to get another pick. George is horrendous they just graded last year draft class and the Broncos were dead last. How can George be our GM ...that's the first step toss him out and get a prime front office. All the picks won't matter if you have a failure for a GM.

He’s got the best release of any QB and probably the best decision making but I think Daniels is a little better.

Big QB, strong arm, tight spirals, can make all the throws. The game looks slowed down for him too. Could have Josh Allen, Justin Herbert comparisons, but will be dependent on where he lands. He’ll need coaching and play calling to be in his favor

He might be the best talent of this draft class. I love how he handles genuine pressure. Not the kind where you're so far in the backfield they need 3 seconds to touch you "pressure." I mean standing in the pocket, guy breaks and immediately is all over you and yet he slings it into tight coverages anyway. It's rare to be that cool under pressure and have that elite of an arm to go with it.

Broncos fan, this is my first tape on Bo so far.
not impressed at all. Even Jay Cutler looked better. Fuck's sake. I'm expecting a 5 win season
1. The kid has a cannon of an arm.
2. If he gets his feet set his accuracy seems legit.
3. Hard to evaluate his accuracy when his receivers are open by 5-10 yards. (Never happens in the NFL)
4. Hard to evaluate his progression, he can get past 1 but usually locks into 2. Its either first read or second, there's maybe one throw on this whole tape where he gets through at least 2. (Kinda sketch considering how long he's played college ball but could just be a symptom of him never needing that third read, either 1 was open or 2 was open)
Highlight reels aren't going to show going to the 3rd read for 5 yards. In general, they aren't that good for evaluating a player.

@@eddysburg97 I personally hope they get Harrison Jr. Not knocking on anyone else on the board but I think Harrison will have the better career. Bears already have one great WR, a good backfield and a stud TE.. trade Fields and use that for more offensive linemen. The Bears could look like a legitimate offense next season.
If the Bears don't get a better coordinator they'll ruin whatever QB they have or get. There's nothing wrong with Fields.

Raiders need to find a way to draft this kid. If they have to move up a bit, do it. I would love Jayden Daniels more than any QB, but at pick 13, I dont believe it is realistic. Good athleticism accurate and mobile but am I alone in seeing his arm lacks some strength or zip on the ball in comparison to the other top prospects. A lot of these throws seem like they’re in the air for eternity compared to Williams, Maye, Daniels, Penix, etc

He’s hitting them right on the numbers and in stride on a majority of these highlights… Now all you need to do is imagine there is a guy a step or 2 behind the receiver and a safety gambling on the pick instead of making a TD saving stop, but he too is a step or 2 late getting to the passing lane.
