It really surprises me how well the editors censor Tomars casual use of slurs throughout this playthrough, mustve taken dozens of hours.

I heard that a fan coded a program that would recognize Tomar saying slurs (lots of voice data for it) and let the OneyPlays crew use it. Thank god for the fans.

Did anyone else notice the flight controls are WAY more touchy in this version than the ps2? I was an ace back then but just slightly moving the joystick in the new one felt like it’s just to sensitive
Newer consoles have more sensitive sticks and the mobile game company behind the remake didn't even attempt to adjust for sensitivity.

For Lyle's big scheme, a corporation I used to work for would have non-compete clauses for franchisees who opened up stores.
Basically the only time we'd revoke their franchise was if the franchisee had sexual harassment charges against them. Which was really common. Then we'd turn the store into a corporate location now that someone else put in the money to open up the location. And after cleaning up a bit, sell it to a new person, double dipping basically. And eventually another harassment charge comes up and we'd repeat the process.
Apart from that there isn't really a need to get rid of bad franchisees. They had to pay royalties for our brand, and were obligated to maintain certain aspects of their location according to corporate decisions. If they reneged on their side of the contract then we'd collect on the penalties they'd have to pay. There is never really a situation where the brand doesn't win in the end.
It was a fun job.
Old games like this I wish they'd just dig up the source code for and add to the original game. Just add lots and lots of content, forget about updating graphics or anything that only Xbox fans would care about anyhow

Didn't GTA try to be realistic back in the day? Not that stylized characters can't work, but it has to be done well.
I think the problem is that there was no care or effort put into the games. The fan made stuff looks good because of people's passion for the game, but when it's a 9-5, just above minimum wage job...
