ADVANCE DC ENDORSEMENT APPLICATION PROCEDURE LEVEL II DANGEROUS CARGO ENDORSEMENT OIL/ CHEMICAL/ GAS

This video contains all the steps to apply for a LEVEL II .i.e. Advance Level DCE.
It Contains important instructions as to how to upload the documents and re-upload in case you get a query from MMD.
Also to inform that the tracking number provided to me showed wrong PINCODE in the speed post's tracking portal. MMD will always put the address you mention in your application and even if the tracking number shows wrong pincode on the website, your document will reach to you. You need not worry in this case, because the post service will see the address mentioned on your parcel and send it to that address.

What to fill in (4) Sea service details < Types of cargo carried. Is it type like Annex I & Annex II, or name of the cargo carried like Gasoil, gasoline,etc. ?

Mention the name of the cargo... Gasoline gasoil xylene acetone whatever..But it should be the same as mentioned in your sea service letter

For Oil and chemical we have to apply separately??
My vessel was OIL/CHEM.
For chemical DCE do we need to do chem LCHS

Bro i have to apply for advance oil dce but i have done oil/chem tankers in my sea service should i have to do pure oil tanker to get this dce or oil/chem tanker sea service will do the same??

You can apply. Only the cargo matters. If your vessel carried oil cargo and your sea service letter has the names of oil cargo then you can apply.

i have applied for advance dc oil. but i got a query upload sea service with mention cargo carried days.i am unable to understand it. i have uploaded sea service letter and cargo carried certificate combined pdf also but still nothing happened. please help if you have any clue.

Please see if your sea service letter also mentions the sailing days of the vessel you carried the cargo on.. Basically your sign on sign off days should be mentioned on that..They need 3 months of sea time at least.. that is why they are asking you for same..

I had done my gasco in 2017, can i apply advance dce on that now or i have to re do the course for Kolkata or mumbai mmd? Got confused as i have heard of ppl talking about redoing the gasco course after 5yrs which was not the case earlier

The course doesn't actually come with an expiry date but you need to have at least 3 months of sea service on a gas tanker within the last 60 months to be eligible to apply. A sea service letter from your company will help.

Some rules come as MMD specific..They might ask you to do the course or even reject your application. It would be better for you if get a clarification from the MMD itself.

Any further proceedings after application generation takes place on the basis of the form ( you must have got a pdf ) . You can change the details in your profile but nothing will change in the pdf file. Any discrepancies will be updated to you by Query in the application status.
