Bancroft mills were tore down recently n made into apt buildings its so sad. Used to love walking around looking at everything.

Hey!!! Milford Native here! Just an update on Milford Middle school. Referendum just passed a few months ago to restore the school which is going to be amazing for our community! I believe the electric was kept on cause the state police used it for school shooting trainings. And The main building is actually very historic.. housed the first African Americans to attend school within the Milford school district I believe. Pretty awesome to see you include it on this list but I assure you it won’t be abandoned anymore 😄😄

Very cool video, I know you said you couldn't find much info on Jenkins airport but considering I used to drive by there in the way home all the time and you provided more info here than I already knew, you're doing ok in my book 😁. We're a small state but still some pretty interesting things around if you know the history and where to look. Awesome video!

Have you done NC yet? In Raleigh Weber got a cool, abandoned underground mall, nightclub area etc… under Cameron village shopping center and more spots I’ve heard about but haven’t checked out yet. I love experiencing abandoned spaces!!
Old middle school is getting up graded and the academy is moving to the middle school and Milford high is taking over both parts of the building

Visited the #2 Mansion gardens. They are open to the public.
Milford Middle school is being renovated. That's why the electricity is still on. They're supposed to start work soon.

Gibraltar is used today mainly for photos for things such as Proms as the gardens outside are gorgeous.

The very first house that you see in the beginning shot is actually now a police dog place I don’t think they use the house but they do use the grounds

we went on a field trip to fort miles so it technically isnt abandoned. they give tours there
