Hello from my fish room channel in Chicago! I adore your Big Puffer Display. everything about it, including the gold tetras - a totally underrated nano fish.
Tetras in general are one of my favorites. They maybe viewed as a common fish to some but their colors and how well they school together is something I never get tired of. ☺️
I tried gold tetra twice. A dozen each time- no luck. Interested in seeing how you do with them. Hope they work out for you.

@@FintasticFreaks I asked a couple of times in your live stream tonight but I know you had a lot of comments. When you cycle a new tank do you use Seachem products or what is your preferred method?
@coreycrocker4728 My apologies for missing those comments. 😞 If you're starting from scratch, Seachem's Stabability and Prime are my main go tos. Other wise if you have another tank of simular size, and have sponge filters run a sponge in a healthy, cycled tank for a few days to collect some of that beneficial bacteria and it will basically jump start the tank, but even if you go that route, I'd still recommend using some prime as well. 👍
@@FintasticFreaks I’m using prime and stability right now. I also did a ghost feed today to see if that’ll help jump start the process. I’m a bit impatient but I’m refusing to do anything else until the tank has cycled. I’m hoping doing the ghost feed on top of the Seachem stuff doesn’t give me to high of an ammonia spike.
