Nice video! From what I know, in busy airports like LHR, once you missed your slot for departure or landing, you will have to wait until there's room for you. So I guess even if your inbound flight arrived with a tiny delay, it could cause a huge effect on the outbound flight.
We were all babies for once, we've all passed this point. And this one is new to the table. How would you feel if that crying baby is your child? I bet you guys don't have guts to look after a crying baby. babies are humans for once, so respect it and carry on to whatever bullcrap there is in the world.
The blind landing in FOG seems to be quite common in HongKong. I has a similar experience. The ground is not visible till you are above the runway. Feels Scary..
I took this flight a few years ago, and had the same experience, along with moderate turbulence on the approach. I could feel the crew almost fighting with the aircraft to keep it on the profile, and envisioned either a missed approach or a very firm touchdown. It turned out to be the latter.
I wonder how many of the people moaning about crying babies are now or have been parents...yes it is annoying, the person / people caring for the child on board should do everything in their power to calm the child; us adults can control the effects of altitude change (ear popping) to at least a certain extent, babies and very young children can't, which distresses them, as well as jet lag...they are just as human as the rest of us after all
Will it ever become possible to book a "no crying baby" flight. I was beginning to think the sound came prerecorded. It's obvious that it's the pressurization that makes their ears hurt and causes them to cry. Why not issue ear plugs or something to mothers with babies. Not for themselves so they can ignore the noise that they are inflicting upon everybody on the plane but to put in the babies ears to eliminate the problem.
Agree, babies'crying is so annoying and it disturbs other passengers on the flight. But parents may think it's a not respectful act to give ear plucks to their children.Especially Chinese.
Saudia to CDG Paris via RUH from SIN was empty as well.....there were ONLY 22 passengers on B777-300ER........well...worth the living flying a BIG Plane B777-300ER with ONLY 22 passengers ONLY......From RUH-CDG was Full flight........I enjoyed flying Saudia.....
@Pix What is your favorite animal? My favorite animals are bats. But I am having loads of fears of flying lately; on the contrary I sleep with dozens of bat stuffed toys for the wintertime. In my dreams, the bats remind me about their night flight.
This video is excellent, but the problem is that this fucking baby cries so loud and it is sooooooo ANNOYING! Like others said in the comments, yes it is so annoying because babies are having tough times with their ears popping cause they aren't used to flying in big aircrafts like this one. Man it is stressful and so annoying, especially when a baby cries a lot in a long flight. But, besides the baby crying loudly, I love this video a lot! Plz put more videos like these one!
The baby is not crying to annoy anyone on purpose and he/ she did not ask to be born, babies and kids cry on flights as their ears are popping etc...so adults please get a life
I got through the first 5 minutes of this video and then couldn't continue watching because of that baby crying. I don't mean to be cruel, but it's annoying
+JLABEL 1201 If you fast forward to about 27:00, there are great views of the Altai Mountains. A remote part of the world and beautiful mountains you don't often see.
crockedile dundee If you think that is bad, try being on a Dash 9 in shitter weather, as Dash 9 planes are smaller and lighter and the last flight I was on was fucking nightmare stuff (and I love flying).
The funniest comments about the poor baby crying, you should be ashamed of yourselves how nasty of you. I am going to do a video especially on babies crying going to post it to you...
Great video! Wow... do I feel sorry for all those passengers having to hear that baby cry all the way to Hong Kong! :(
love your videos, especially this one :) great filming :)
Great video! Love Cathay but the baby needs a dummy.
Always interesting to look at the earths landscape and it's immensity. It's a wonder we ever migrated anywhere.

I still have fears of flying. My bat plush animals sooth me in my sleeps this time.

If I had a kid, I would not be traveling half way around the world with him/her. How about staying home until the kid gets to at least 3 years old.
was flying from HK to UK with CX last year, very nice!
Gorgeous 77W
Oh and cool video by the way, shame the weather on approach and arrival was crap!
Nice one mate

Unlike the people on the flight itself, you are in a position to turn off the sound on your computer :)
