We have an older TKO 75. Love this SO much. It was a neighbor's discard. I revived it from the brink of the landfill. Out in the rain and everything. Yipee! By the way Hartley Peavey has said ALL the components were USA sourced, too. 100% USA made, baby.

What a lucky find! And, yes, Meridan Mississippi!

I think the TKO Series was originally a Keyboard amp. We love it.

I have this exact amp, in near new condition, with no amp head in it., and no handle., I’ve had it for about 20 years now, I think I’ll use it as a cabinet until I can find an amplifier that will fit in it., never had any luck finding a replacement amp unit .

Interesting. Hopefully you can find a replacement amp, but I'm sure it will make a nice cab too. Thanks for watching!

Glad to watch this introductary video.
Playing Peavey 5-string NT-passive soapbar neck-through ( roots, classic rock, fusion, classic hard rock - heavy metal, Euro-folk), Harley Benton 5-string fretless ( jazz, swing-a-billy :), fusion, Euro- folk) and Carlsbro 5-string EMG J5P Cobra ( hard rock, classic metal, Progressive, modern metal ) myself through a 2x200w Peavey Digital Bass Amp from somewhere around the late nineties with separate outputs for high and low going DI to front of house and then into a Peavey 2x15 for low end and a 6x10 Peavey cab for high end with Scorpions in the 215 and Blue Marvels in the 610.
Been thinking about getting the TKO 115 for small venues so I was Interested in checking this video out.
Does the amp have an ouput on the rear for ext. cabinets as I already have a separate 115 Peavey cabinet with yet another15" Scorpion in it?

There is no jack for External Speakers. As I explained in the video, you can connect the amp to external gear such as an external PA, soundboard, etc. using the Patch Power Amp In, and Pre Out. I hope that helps.

Hello Steve, thanks for the video. I have this identical model and i play a 1984 BC Rich Mockingbird and a 1986 BC Rich Warlock through it. I get a mild buzzing tone regardless of where i plug it in either the high or low gain. Do you have an idea what that might be and do you get that as well? any input would help, thanks.

Thank you for watching! I'd try plugging in the amp to another outlet. There may be a shielding or grounding problem causing that. If you're next to other electronics or fluorescent lighting, that could be the culprit.

@@SteveReaves ues, that might be a possibility because I'm surrounded by electronics of all kinds. Thank you for the advice i appreciate it👍

@@commanderwilliamtriker7449 if the other electronics in question is gear, you may need a noise gate.
