I hate to fact check your video, but.... Bradenton, Anna Maria Island, Coquina Beach, Siesta Key, Long Boat key, Sarasota, etc. are not located in "South Florida", they are geographically located on the west coast of Florida nearby and just to the south of the Saint Pete & Tampa Bay area, thus in the middle (central) of Florida (also known as the Gulf Coast). This is my old stomping grounds, grew up there, spent most of my summers on Beer Can Island and Coquina Beach, just between Bradenton and Long Boat Key. Beautiful place, still miss it.......... There was a bar there right on the beach (they could raise the wooden walls up at night to see the beach) that made the best Mai Tai's and Hurricane cocktails in the world. When it cooled off in the late afternoon, after a blistering day on the beach, nothing was more pleasant than throwing back a couple of those drinks and getting the night started right. Good times............

gosh....I'm tickled excited to be moving to FL next summer from Oregon. I grew up in Southern Calif 5 miles from the beach and I miss those sand and water. Can't go back due to how expensive it is but FL...omg...it's doable. Since my family moved away from Oregon or passed away I'm the only one here. So looking forward to growing old and enjoying the sunshine and water.

So far, yes, it's amazing, quickly becoming one of my favorite places. The vibe of the people is so great, super friendly and laid back, the beaches are out of this world, buses are cheap but the roads are good. So much to see around here, I've just started exploring the area really. If you haven't been to the Yucatan definitely put it on your list. Also Belize and Guatemala are close by which both sound awesome. Guatemala is supposed to be amazing and also cheaper.

Terrible conditions just came back. If your a tourist don't waste your time... under construction no one around. The pier is also closed. Boring👎benches along sidewalk old need painting and trees and grass need trimming.
