UCI Road Cycling World Championship 2022 - Wollongong

On 25 September 2022 Wollongong (Australia) hosted the cycling world championship, 12 years after Geelong in 2010.
The main favorites for the 2022 edition were: Wout Van Aert, Michael Matthews, Tadej Pogacar, Remco Evenepoel, Mathieu van der Poel, Christophe Laporte, Benoit Cosnefroy and Biniam Girmay.
