Theo I love you and I get whatcha saying but.. what exactly is your Faith in? The Bible talks about there’s a god of this current world (satan) then there is a God of everlasting life (Jesus) It just seems like your not distinctly clear on those two. If someone chooses to have faith, I say good for them. But if someone doesn’t choose to have faith, you can’t be upset they don’t believe in a higher power. I guess that’s how I see it. It’s unnatural to believe in something that isn’t tangible so I understand where the strong disconnect comes from within people.
Just wish people would actually read some of the classics on these subjects. Imagine trying to learn medicine with nothing but youtube videos. There are documents that have survived 1000s of years for a reason. That's wisdom that has stood the test of time. Probably something of value there. If you go for that sort of thing.
I think it’s entirely possible. However I think it’s very important to remain wary/skeptical of any HUMAN who wants to tell you that the know for a FACT what that power is, what it’s intentions are and how it wants you to live your life. No one has any hard evidence AT ALL that their god exists.
It doesn't take religion to get good people to do good things, but it takes something like religion to get someone that would otherwise be a good person to do bad things and actually be convinced that they're doing good while doing it. Religious belief is a faith based belief. Faith can be used to "justify" belief in two directly contradictory claims. There is no idea that cannot be held "based on faith", thus faith is not and can not be considered a reliable method of determining truth. Actions are based on beliefs. If you have a belief that is faith based as opposed to based on logically sound, reasonable, articulable arguments, then you should probably reconsider your position.

You see this in nazi Germany and lots of wars where good young men who at first can't even kill a man are taking out pregnant women and shooting them and children for fun, nothing to do with any religion, but is simply the corruptible nature of mankind. Furthermore most evil is done not for religious beilifs that tend to oppose wrong doing but by men looking for power greed, imperialism, vengeance and ideology, and has nothing to do with any religious belief, most wars are like this, most financial crimes, and while religions can be manipulated to ttu justify things, youl find thats not what the religion says at all and is not present in the majority of cases..good people also do evil when mislead, today still its everywhere pay attention. Furthermore anyone using this quote knows nothing of the nature of good and evil. First of all being good comes form being able to do bad and harm and choosing not to, not just doing good when you cant do anything else or its easy and the lines of good and evil run across every human heart. Because of this most people or many are not good at all, just like someone who'weak can't be peaceful there just harmless, and someone whos good to those whos good to them isn't good either as even evil people can be good to those who are good to them. Because of this most people who we identify as good as they had normal lives are not good at all including yourself and you and many posses an immense capacity for violence cruelty misery and evil, the idea only a relgous belif can make you tap into this side of yourself is not only fucking ludicrous and not the case in most acts of supposed good men doing evil but its the other way round. As religous belif and religion is by far the most powerrfull and most effective, and in some cases the only way at making bad people do good. Religion can turn a violent future attepmting murdering misbehaving phycopath into a good civil charitable member of society, can stop people smoking and misbehaving instantly, has turn slave owners into abolitionists who abolished the human universal of slavery in the west for the first time ever in an entirely religious movement, can turn the most evil into good, suicidal people depression cured, when nothing else worked. Theo von even said when he was younger nothing other than god could get through to him and this is the case for many a people who have had their behaviour turned around, changed and saved through religion. Furthermore not only do relgous teachings restrain our corrupt passions and turn us into better people, but its often being found that in places such as gulags and concentration camps where good men where corrupted and became evil themselves that the relgous individuals where far less likey to become corrupt, sell themselves out or give up hope as was found by Alexander solzernitzin in the gulags and many others. @@lukeblackman66 Understand 1) agreed - the difference is religion gives people a false sense of vindication for doing evil as long as their religion says it's ok. You can use faith based religion to "justify" genocide. You cannot logically justify genocide. Period. 2) If you are bad an evil, religious belief can be the most powerful thing that can encourage you to do bad. We see this across history and toady. Ever heard of the Crusades or 9/11? 3) It's no coincidence that the early slave traders were religious, and "justified" in their actions according to Exodus 21. So miss me with that bs. If I hold a gun to your head and tell you to give everyone your money, that doesn't make you a good person for giving away all your money. Being charitable under threat of eternal violence is not comparible to charitable acts done by people on their own accord with their own free will without a lingering threat of violence. 4) Anything good religions do is good on it's own merit. It's not good because a religion says so. It's not good because a religion does it. We do not need to be threatened into submission in order to be good - it is actually quite possible to be good for goodness sake. Of course humanism doesn't "come from" atheism - atheism isn't a religion. It's an answer to a question of belief and nothing more. Humanism/morality absolutely does NOT come from religion. "So many of the good we have done in today's society, has largely being done through irrational religius belif." If something is good, it's good because it can be shown to be good - through logically sound rational arguments. Occasionally accidently getting the right answer with the wrong method does not add any credibility to flawed logic (faith - aka belief without reason). If I go around feeding the homeless because satan told me to, that doesn't mean satan is real, or that my belief in satan is good. It's typical of religions to take credit for all the good and dismiss all the bad with special pleading, post hoc rationalizations, narrative fallacies..... yeah. You get the point. Or at least you should by now. If not, that's on you.

TRUTH!
Christ is King!
John 15:18-19
There is only HaShem. Numbers 23:19 Jesus was just a man
Amen
@@JasonAlexzander1q47 Jesus is the Fathers human nature. We were all made in the image of God but Jesus is the perfect image, he's Adam without the fall.
Numbers 23:19
19 God is not human, 👉that he should lie,
not a human being, 👉that he should change his mind.
👉Does he speak and then not act?
👉 Does he promise and not fulfill?
1 Peter 2:22
22 “He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.”
Hebrews 13:8
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
John 5:17-18
17 In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” 18 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
2 Peter 1:4
4 By which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
Yeah boy!!!
Amen and Amen ❤
The Holy Spirit is the only to be trusted
Keep your faith, baby, just don't push it on others, like telling a little 10-year old girl who got raped she's gonna have to have that baby 'cause your religion says so (i.e., as happened in Ohio, when Christian justification used to pass bullshit ban on abortions).
Presby? No wonder he fell asleep. LOL just kidding. They are sedate is all I mean. I'm a Charismatic Catholic ( I guilt and get up and go! lol ) and our events have Mass and all that but they got pew jumping in one corner, speaking in tongues in another corner, slaying in the spirit ( catching people when they fall out ), healing down front, and my favorite from good O'l Appalachia...snake handling in the back. I was a little creeped out so I wanted to know where the nearest door was ( to get away from the snakes ) and they said they didn't have one. So I asked them where did they want one? lol I'm used to my Mother's Methodist Church ( also a snooozzzzzzzer ) where you have to bring a covered dish but at this Church you have to bring in a copperhead! I brought in a copper headed water rattler, I think. I don't know what kind it was...but It was hissed and pissed!! Somebody went to heaven that night with a big snake hanging off his thumb. JK.
John 14:6
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
When I think of ego I think of Icarus and the sun. You want balance.
I know ❤
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
If your faith isn't grounded in the word of God, then you are worshipping a god of your imagination, and he cannot save you.
All the info out there…still stuck on wishing there was a god to ass kiss.
Faith is just the ego dealing with its mortality and screaming that it is important
Yep
Embrace the void my brothers!
Ego? Aren't you just a bunch of atoms?
@@APAL880 are you saying the ego doesn't exist?
@@acedegenerate2254 I'm saying that someone like you who believes that we are just matter and that our every thought or feeling is a chemical reaction has no justification for something like the ego.
It appears some snowflake may have removed my honest critique of the Christian god. So much for faith 😂😂😂

Jesus never lived it's a story
Most historians including atheistic historians believe Jesus was a real teacher.
I’ve met both there men. One of them while super pleasant to me, did something not so cool to one of my female friends. The other gave me free tickets to a sold out show in my hometown for my bday and got to him after the show. This one was amazing, did nothing creepy toward one of my female homies and he also has super dope hair. The other not only did something Pervy he also has beef with the sunshine....that says it all.
Idk why you're afraid to be specific here?
yeh gaffigab doesn+t let anyone diss or spot on him in any way just like that hehehh
not even if he just thinks it just listen to some of his oldest bits talking to the audience he was a killer
Love you man. Hate this guy, and idk why.
To me, Jim seems to have an internal recognition of truth that he doesn't feel comfortable letting out. Likely a product of the entertainment industry environment.
Kinda sad that you can hate someone and not even know why
@@Matt-yy8tl I could see that.
