I’d love one but between the saw, bli300 battery and charger that’s 1000 bucks!!! You can get a regular t540 or stihl ms201tc and a echo cs355t for that price or just 3 echos if you’re thinking price wise
I know, I have 201's and 355's and now that I have the T540i, the others hardly leave the garage, no shit

Do you know the operating temperature for the saw? The manual doesn’t mention cold weather operation (-25 Celsius is my weather. Thank you.

I was a huskvarna fun, 1.5 years ago I buy my first battery saw, I buy the Stihl 220 because here in Portugal it was about 200 Euros cheaper than the huskvarna 540, I have see some videos and is no doubt the 540 beats the 220. I buy also the stihl 161T and I am 100% satisfied with it. 1.5 months ago I buy the Stihl MSA 300 this is another story I am convinced the huskvarna 540 stands absolutely no chance against. However for what I see the batteries with last long on the 540. In my opinion even the stihl bigger battery the AP500 is not up to this powerful saw.

I have a 540i XP from a couple of weeks and I like it very much. I would like to know if the T540i XP has the same power of the 540i XP.

i bought a new 540ixp last week and it stops cutting an inch through
I can’t say we have anything similar. I’m guessing the battery is charged ok? And the chain is sharp? Not got it in eco mode? Pop it back to your dealer if you’re concerned about its performance. They will sort it out under warranty if there is an issue 👍🏼
Good introduction! It's insane how well these compare nowadays to same size petrol chainsaws. Have you noticed any difference in power between BLi 200x and Bli 300x batteries?
Thanks AH. Weight and run time is the only difference. They have not yet brought out a BLi300x, just the standard BLi300. The 200x is 187Wh and the 300 is 338. The 300 is 500g heavier than the 200x. So for top handle use I would recommend the 200x.

It cuts extremely fast due to the narrow chain and lots of torque
Its needs a gripper bar and to bolts to hold the bar on then you can call it a pro saw
Tried one out, cuts good, too bad they didn't go with more magnesium alloy in it. Too much plastic, they would have actually saved even more weight with the alloy than this glass-fiber impregnated plastic while also giving it more durability and better feel.
Thank you for your feedback. Out of interest how come you would like it lighter? Our thoughts were that the balance and weight were about right. Always great to hear how others find them 👍🏼
I don’t get it, This saw uses alloy only were it is needed like the front handle and clutch cover this alone sets it apart from any other battery saw out there
