  • Using my 1861 gold coin made during the Spanish Philippines colonial times, I plan to undo the "cleaning" damage to the coin by submerging it in a can of wet coffee grains hoping it will stain the coin and give it the antique look I am looking for to pass the scrutiny of PCGS or NGC coin grading.

Taking the king of metal and putting it in plastic should be a crime. Gold protects itself. Its properties are unique and WONDERFUL.

Gold is gold I hate grading. Never buy plasticised gold. There's way too many mints. Especially in the states.
