Flo! This was absolutely fantastic! I halved your recipe for my 3-qt. & used ground ginger. (I never know what to do with ginger root, so don't keep it 😂 Wasn't sure how to convert, so just used a tsp of powder.)Oh. My. Gosh. DELISH & so easy. Oh, & I broiled the shorts a bit after with CrispLid because one must play with new toys. Wow, though. Short ribs are really getting pricey. Is there another cut of beef you would recommend for this recipe? I also never buy boneless meat. If recipe calls for boneless, I cut it out, but chunk it in the pot liquid for flavor. Thanks again for a keeper recipe!

Great recipe. I will definitely try it. My favourite dish to take to a pot luck is slow cooker sausage in a great sauce of tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, garlic, and Italian seasonings. I add a small tin of tomato paste at the very end to thicken the sauce. I have never had any left to bring home. :-)

I, too, have been a big fan of Nili for about a year and a half or so and think of her and her husband as bionic parents! So much to do in their lives!!! I've also been following you for a time and I forget what I made of yours recently but I sometime want to make short ribs but using the boneless ones because I don't like messing with bones in my meat! Some would call me whatever, but I always use the big jar of minced garlic. Much easier! I think I'll have to wait a bit before I make this, because I now have a dental issue that makes me eat soft and I'm trying to last until January when my dental insurance kicks back in! My very best to you and Dude, and I also like The Taste! Take care!

I made this tonight, and it was delicious. My grocery only had boneless short ribs, and they turned out fork tender. I used green onions instead of cilantro and it added a nice freshness and bite. My only problem was the cornstarch seized up after I added it to the hot liquid, so next time I will temper the slurry with a little bit of the hot sauce before adding it in. I have a ton of that yummy gravy left over, so am thinking about re-purposing it as a sauce for tofu or chicken. Thank you for a great recipe, I will definitely make it again!

I made this tonight as well. (Just got the pot for my birthday, so had to use it)Had rib finger meat. Cooked on manual for 25 minutes natural release for 10. Because I had 1.8kg of meat I doubled the sauce recipe. It was too thin even after adding a slurry. Next time I will double the solid ingredients and only 1 1/2 the liquid. Served with rice toasted sesame seeds and green onion. My family LOVED it. Flo you and Dude have a great channel 😊 keep up the awesome work ! 🇨🇦
