How to Tie the Marabou Leech-A Classic Stillwater Fly

In this video, I will show you how to tie a classic Stillwater Fly, Hal Jannsen's Marabou Leech. This fly is a great stillwater pattern you can use anytime during the open water season.
I believe every stillwater fly box should have an assortment of Marabou Leeches on hand. You can fish this fly using a variety of fly lines and retrieves. It is tough sometimes to fish a leech incorrectly.

your fly tying bench looks a lot like mine. I have 1 small room to work out of, to keep all my fishing and camping gear in on top of my fly tying stuff. the room is 7 feet, by 11 feet. Its my crowded man cave =)

My tying area is actually fairly large, fortunately. When they moved all of the items in our basement out of the flood-impacted area, my tying area and the quarter of the basement it is located in became the temporary storage area, almost burying it in the process. It wasn't exactly tidy before the flood hit, magnifying the chaos. :)
