Yeah, the kimono jacket was absolutely amazing! The red kimono kinda looks like a Korean cheongsam to me, but when the jacket went over, the entire look became unmistakably Japanese. Love it so much

Well in Japan, "hatachi" which is your 20th birthday is when you're really considered a full adult, able to drink and the like. But i do believe the age of consent is lower than that
I LOVE this Miku doll! She's so pretty! One thing I wanted to mention, if you can, you should re-tie her kimono so that it is left over right. Right over left is reserved for the dead
You should get those silicone finger covers so you don’t burn yourself with the hot glue! Seeing you touch it with your bare fingers makes me think about how much hot glue hurts

It doesn’t hurt if you have been doing it for a long while.
Snoodles she could put cold water on her fingers before touching it it’s actually a very useful hack
You can wait for it to cool but not harden then do it u will literally not feel anything
I dropped some hot glue on my leg and got a 2nd degree burn...boy was that painful lol
I wish I had know about all of these things when I was in highschool making ALL my projects with hot glue and plastic bags getting burns all over my fingers and hands 🤣😂😅😅😓😭

I have to say this is my personal favorite of this collab.
From the process to the doll, bit I did really enjoy all of them and all of the dolls look wonderful :).
Its sad the Dollightfull hasn't made a doll of her yet! But, doll customising is a very big time consumer and it takes alot of effort, materials and motivation, but, thanks so much Moonlight Jewl! You are awesome and i hope there are more beautiful dolls to come!

Cutie Frenchie Customs there is some liquitex matte varnish you can apply with an airbrush but other than that i don’t know any other sealing that is safe to use 🙈❤️

I do have one thing to add: when wrapping a kimono, it’s usually the right side goes under the left. The other way around is for, um... the dead. Just a tip!
Wunderschön, dass du eine Miku gemacht hast. Ich schaue oft Doll making videos und bin vocaloid fan seit 2008, darum ist es sehr cool dass solch eine Kollaboration entstanden ist. Einfach wunderbar und super detailreich. War das nicht alles sehr teuer? Also die Textilien, der Drucker etc. Jedenfalls Hut ab. Ich fühle mich alt mit 23 Jahren, wenn ich daran denke, wie alt Vocaloid schon ist. Haha

I wish you would pose her a little to showcase the hard work you did with the outfit. The pink belt/ribbon is always in front of the rest of the kimono/jacket and we can't appreciate them! (I looked up references and I get it, that's kind of the case, but a turnaround or something would be really cool!)

some facts about Chokabuki Miku:
That big butterfly hair was called hyogo. It was usually heavy and could weigh up to 20 pounds. They were usually ornamented with numerous kanzashi.
The elaborate kimono oiran usually wore signified their social standing; the highest ranking of these courtesans were called tayuu. The higher the ranking the bigger the entourage as well.
Tayuu had the right to refuse customers, unlike most women in the Yoshiwara, Shimabara and Shinmachi districts.
