I love King's Quest V and have never shied away from saying as much; it has that epic feeling, and every setting is gorgeous and whimsical. I just adore it, and have SUCH fond memories of playing it when I was young. I poke fun at Cedric myself, but share similar sentiments; I do like that he's there. Great insight on Serenia and previous games, and I appreciate that fantastic Dion joke.
Hey PushingUpRoses, I just wanted to say I agree with you 110%. KQ5 really does have an epic feel to it, and it IMO has the best art in the series (although some of the backgrounds in 7 are gorgeous). KQ5 was the first computer game I ever played and like you, King's Quest and Sierra in general was a cornerstone of my childhood. I also want to say I love your reviews (and your makeup lmao!) and I want to thank you for helping to keep Sierra's flame alive with your channel. I wanted to ask if you would consider reviewing any more of the SQ games (I loved your review of SQ6 - very touching retrospective on an underrated game)? Lastly, I know you probably hate it, but would you consider giving Mask of Eternity a retrospective? Even though it doesn't have much in common with KQ's 1-7, it is Roberta's last game and she did put a TON of research and work into it over 3 years (I have her design notes from as far back as 1995 and she seemed dedicated to making KQ8 as epic as possible - a lot of her ideas had to be cut because they were too ambitious for the time), and it is one of the last games to be released by Sierra before it was gutted.
I guess Im randomly asking but does anybody know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I would love any tips you can give me!
DARLING!! Jackie Chan was AMAZING!! Jim and I had the magazines and talismans and cards! ALL IN THE STEEL CASE! And watched the show whenever it was on!
KQV was the first Sierra game that I ever played; it came in a pack of CD-ROMs that my parents bought me from Best Buy. I was hooked. And I fell in love with Sierra games along with poisonous snakes.
That's something I will never miss about modern gaming. Playing for hours, only to find out you missed an item or such, and you can't finish the game, and have to start all over. I recall playing this, and being screwed because I ate the custard pie once I got it. I just quit the game at that point, didn't bother to restart. I can't believe we put up with that kinda thing back then.
I hope your serious about Jackie Chan Adventures. That show was the bomb, and to this I can still hear Uncle yelling "ONE MORE THING!" in the back of my head.
Some how, they ported this game to the freaking NES. It was that big of a deal. My first King's Quest was King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow. So when I think King's Quest, I think of Dangling Participles.
I play a lot of D&D and literally every time I read the description for Find Familiar or ever see the words "poisonous snake" anywhere I can't help but immediately thinking "PRAY YOU WATCH OUT, A *_POIIIISONOUS_* SNAKE!"
I gotta be honest, I kind of want to see you make a video where you slowly put on more and more scarves as the video goes on, right up until you have like, 18 scarves on. Don't know why, but it seems like it'd be your kind of humor. Great video by the way :)
16:15 this should be a gaming youtube meme. So many youtubers hint at or mention that they'll do certain games or sequels but take like 10 million years to make that video.
This will always be my favourite King's Quest game together with King's Quest IV (which I actually played through for the first time last year). It's such a memorable game in so many ways.
You know, it's reviews like this, and that "Broken Sword 2" collab with Caddicarus are what always draws me back into P-&-C Adventure Games regardless of how difficult they are for me at times. Keep up the good work!
I loved this game, been doing a walkthrough of the series. The bear kill where he punches you out makes me laugh every time. All I can see is Nick Cage in Wicker Man when punches out the lady while wearing a bear suit. 😂
One of my favourite games EVER! I actually liked Cedric, and agree with your points. King's Quest in general is just plain awesomely amazing! :) They are all awesome, haven't won 8 yet but so far....its different, but likeable, I guess.
16:14 That's it. Starting in November, we're gonna start pestering you to begin playing another King's Quest game so you can get another video out in January - February 2019. It's _kinda_ become your New Year's tradition... so long as "the end of February" is still close enough (totally is) and you do it on random years :P
14:58 I missed the hook on Harpy Island. By the time it comes up I was 10 saves in and rolled over the island checkpoint. Entire playthrough down the drain.
I paused the video just to say that you should talk about Jackie Chan Adventures at some point. I remember it being awesome, & I've actually been wondering how well it holds up.
trust me at this time when there is no doctor who on this would be the best time to do a video like that. videos like that are bound to make lodes of views, I bet my heart on it.
Hey I just want to mention...no one that I've seen on RUclips has given a full review of the new KQ Episodic series!!! This is your chance...(Plus ep1,3,5 are actually very very good and hold in with KQ:Sierra)
maybe you should review Iron Maiden legacy of the Beast if you could get a hold of it since in your early videos i notice you wore a Iron Maiden shirt a lot
first game I think of? Mask of Eternity. I get it's nothing like the rest of the games, but I have fond memories of playing that when I was younger. As a stand alone game, it isn't the worst thing ever. Not perfect, but not complete trash.
if the game didn't force Cedric to be a meat shield for Graham, I would agree with you 100 percent! That character was useless, annoying, and unnecessary otherwise.
Here's a thing tho, what you should be talking about at some point is Team Fortress 2. Why? Beats me, I just love the game and would like to hear an adventure guy, who hibernates after every video, to talk about it.
I love King's Quest V and have never shied away from saying as much; it has that epic feeling, and every setting is gorgeous and whimsical. I somehow lost my password. I would love any tips you can give me!
@Harlem Zahir instablaster ;)
One more thing! You definitely should talk about Jackie Chan Adventures!
Poor Jackie ... he don't want no trabble!
That would be awesome
Oh, egads! My castle is gone.
But what if I were to purchase White Castle and disguise it as my own kingdom? Ohoho, delightfully devilish Graham
DARLING!! Jackie Chan was AMAZING!! Jim and I had the magazines and talismans and cards! ALL IN THE STEEL CASE! And watched the show whenever it was on!
DUDE! I had 'em all too!
We should talk about the magazines... Just them... I must have them somewhere at my old home!
KQV was the first Sierra game that I ever played; it came in a pack of CD-ROMs that my parents bought me from Best Buy. I was hooked. And I fell in love with Sierra games along with poisonous snakes.

I can't believe we put up with that kinda thing back then.
This is the game that introduced me to Kings Quest via the many deaths of King Graham. Specifically "Never trust a bad guy, Graham"
I don’t understand “hewwo”
Dylan McDonald *Notices castle missing* OwO'
Hewwo
Wait, people don't remember Jackie Chan Adventures?
AIYA! YOU MUST DO RESEARCH!
(sorry I couldn't resist)
Watch out Scarfhulu.... a poooOOOIIIIiiiisonous comment
I hope your serious about Jackie Chan Adventures. That show was the bomb, and to this I can still hear Uncle yelling "ONE MORE THING!" in the back of my head.
I never thought I wanted a Scarfulhu review of Jackie Chan Adventures, but now I want nothing BUT a Scarfulhu review of Jackie Chan Adventures.
Some how, they ported this game to the freaking NES. It was that big of a deal.
My first King's Quest was King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow. So when I think King's Quest, I think of Dangling Participles.
This was my first PC adventure game. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
"I like sausages" That is EXACTLY how my dog talks, how did you know?
i was CONVINCED i was following you already! I'm so glad you had a guest spot on Ragnar's video, i remembered to check your channel once again n_n
An owl that makes tea, I need that in my life
I play a lot of D&D and literally every time I read the description for Find Familiar or ever see the words "poisonous snake" anywhere I can't help but immediately thinking "PRAY YOU WATCH OUT, A *_POIIIISONOUS_* SNAKE!"
I've played this game so many times and yet I've never seen the snake talk. Yeah I love finding new things in games I think I know so well
I love how bad Sir Gray Wolf is voice acted.
I gotta be honest, I kind of want to see you make a video where you slowly put on more and more scarves as the video goes on, right up until you have like, 18 scarves on.
Don't know why, but it seems like it'd be your kind of humor.
Great video by the way :)
oh, please talk about that show! it's been a huge part of my childhood! ^^
Yeah, click on that single pixel or you won't beat the game xD
I wish more games did pixel art like this
Yo Jackie Chan Adventures was awesome
Barney. ze Fuck yeah!
ONE MORE THING!
16:15 this should be a gaming youtube meme.
So many youtubers hint at or mention that they'll do certain games or sequels but take like 10 million years to make that video.
still loving the hat man
I love your reviews. Please do a video on Jackie Chan Adventures!
I love this game‘s narrator voice acting!
Happy you came back! Missed you and your nostalgic video in these months :D
It’s about time Scarfulhu it’s been 4 years, times ticking for number 6.
To be fair I did a King's Quest in September, not 6, but the timer has reset in my mind.
This will always be my favourite King's Quest game together with King's Quest IV (which I actually played through for the first time last year).
It's such a memorable game in so many ways.
Your video uploads are always a cause for celebration, Huzzah!
You know, it's reviews like this, and that "Broken Sword 2" collab with Caddicarus are what always draws me back into P-&-C Adventure Games regardless of how difficult they are for me at times. Keep up the good work!
I would LOVE to see more King's Quest games here. Oh, and Gabriel Knight!!!
The harp supposedly melts Queen Ice-abella's heart, although IIRC there's of course not much to hint at that.
Someone else who knew the Jackie Chan adventures existed?! :D
A lot of people knew, a lot MORE people just forgot.
26CLT I did
scarf you're vids are great ive seen each one like 15 times
I loved this game, been doing a walkthrough of the series. The bear kill where he punches you out makes me laugh every time. All I can see is Nick Cage in Wicker Man when punches out the lady while wearing a bear suit. 😂
I should go back and rewatch Dan and Ross play this. It's been far too long.
Just thought the same. Right after I finish rewatching Lucahjin ans MeowingKittens walkthrough of it.
Yes, talk about JCA! It's one of my favorite shows.
You forgot something. You actually have to complete every minigame in Spyro Orange 4 times.
One of my favourite games EVER! I actually liked Cedric, and agree with your points. King's Quest in general is just plain awesomely amazing! :)
They are all awesome, haven't won 8 yet but so far....its different, but likeable, I guess.

I paused an anime to watch this, hope you're proud.
Either way, great video. xD
Yeah King Graham dies from falling so often. I had a small stroke as a child like every time he let out his horribly loud scream
Love King's Quest V
Love Jackie Chan Adventures
Love this video.
Keep up the good work.
Talk about Jackie Chan Adventures. I love the King’s Quest games so much. I look forward to your future videos.
Kings Quest VII
Mordak's castle seems a LOT like Malcolm's castle in Kyrandia.
Bionicle 3 Web of Shadows!
14:58 I missed the hook on Harpy Island. By the time it comes up I was 10 saves in and rolled over the island checkpoint. Entire playthrough down the drain.
Stay tuned till 2020 when scarf finally covers kq6
Will you make a video about Kings Quest 2015? I really love the game, and would love to see your video about it.😘
"Snaek"
You should review Arcanum of Steamworks and Magika. It's a pretty obscure RPG that Sierra published, I think.
Anyway, when will "soon enough" come?
Reviving a 5 year old video to say that 13:55 they are dried peas. Have a great day!
I paused the video just to say that you should talk about Jackie Chan Adventures at some point. I remember it being awesome, & I've actually been wondering how well it holds up.
This scarf-boy here. I know some scarf-boys, but this one is my favourite
I can see in the back ground of your video some big finishes, do you have a collection video?
No, but I've been asked to make one a couple of times. I might do that if people are interested.
trust me at this time when there is no doctor who on this would be the best time to do a video like that.
videos like that are bound to make lodes of views, I bet my heart on it.
Scarf, I will love you to eternity if you talk about Jackie-chan Adventures.
Tell us where you got that hat
A POOOOOOOOOOOOOOISONOUS SNAKE!!!!
...Actually, it's a Venomous Serpent
If you haven't done one for King's Quest VI yet, can you please play the Enhanced Windows 3.1 Version? I think it would be neat.
7:43 Yassss Talk about Jackie Chan Adventures! :D
5:38 do I get a cookie for predicting that?
Hey I just want to mention...no one that I've seen on RUclips has given a full review of the new KQ Episodic series!!! This is your chance...(Plus ep1,3,5 are actually very very good and hold in with KQ:Sierra)
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen a damseled castle before” Mario Galaxy?
I've never watched Jackie chan adventures but I freaking love project A and super cop
5:57
The Line™
We all know why you're here...
Yessssssssss more like this!
This is very nice
Jacky Chan Adventure was a really great series
The game is funny
maybe you should review Iron Maiden legacy of the Beast if you could get a hold of it since in your early videos i notice you wore a Iron Maiden shirt a lot
first game I think of? Mask of Eternity. I get it's nothing like the rest of the games, but I have fond memories of playing that when I was younger. As a stand alone game, it isn't the worst thing ever. Not perfect, but not complete trash.
Similar conclusion to what I came to. Not a bad game, but not amazing.
Scarfulhu: ....Kings quest 6....
Me: GIRL IN THE TOOWEER, IM LOOKIN OUT, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DOOOO!
thanks for the vid!!! awesome!
I remember Jackie Chan Adventures. Like.
I used to watch Jackie Chan Adventures!!
That wolf sounds like Yoda.
I think the reason people hate Cedric is more because he's useless, there is no reason for him to accompany you.
You have to pick him up from the ground to win the game, also I think he is supposed to be company for Graham, not a hint tool for the player.
if the game didn't force Cedric to be a meat shield for Graham, I would agree with you 100 percent! That character was useless, annoying, and unnecessary otherwise.
Lovely
Here's a thing tho, what you should be talking about at some point is Team Fortress 2. Why? Beats me, I just love the game and would like to hear an adventure guy, who hibernates after every video, to talk about it.
Mata Nui Online Game review when?
I remember watching Jackie Chan Adventures when I was young
They aren't frozen peas. It's a bag of dried peas.
You should play broken age
My castle! What has happened!..
Oh boy, wanderer killed me :'P
Plz talk about Jackie Chan adventures!
YES, JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES REVIEW, ABSOLUTELY
Would watch jackie chan adventures critiques by the episode if you think you have the material.
I like the reboot......when it worked.
More Sam & Max pls
4 and 5 are my favorites. 6 is certainly good, but I didn't really like the themes of the Green Isles.
NO MORE FOR TODAY
IT COSTS ONE GOLD COIN TO SEE MADAM MOOSHKA
I like Jacky chan adventures it was great
Now do space quest
Ahhh KQ5. My first and second favorite (sorry lad KQ6 is genuinely superior)
I'm also in need of stuff and things
I love Cedric!
He's kind of annoying for the most part but, y'all be changing your tune when Cedric almost freaking dies several times.
Wait though ....the background music that starts at 12:44... isn't that from KQ7? From the kingdom that has the arch Duke that's a poodle 😂
