Haven't listened to Annihilator in over 25 years. They were a very underrated band. Didn't know they had any material post-90s. I'll have to revisit their music. Awesome riffing by the way.
Sweet Jesus dude. That was the most intense video I've seen you do. Awesome!!! One of the most criminally overlooked bands and a guitarist who should be up there with Hetfield Mustaine Skolnick Hanneman Holt Friedman as a more widespread recognised riff machine he is and he also plays all the bass parts on every album he's recorded along with rhythm and lead. The dude is my favourite guitarist and it's obvious why \m/_ Bring on testament my friend \m/_

Jeff is such an underrated player. Great playing Kari . Anyone wanting to really work on picking and wrist control would do well to study these tracks and work on rhythms slowly building up to speed.
Ooh yeah man, I definitely will do Exodus in near future! \,,/ Ps. Never, Neverland - album is my current favourite from Annihilator, definitely worth checking ;)
Karri thank you for delivering on the Annihilator riffs. Word Salad works up more effort for me to play. Jeff Waters is such a smart player and very advance at a very young age in the early 90's.

>5 minutes of single note shredder riffs >rhythm :D Great job, very tight playing. I have an Annihilator playlist with all the songs dropped a full octave and slowed by 25%. BRUTAL
As always, outstanding job. Jeff Waters, as do you, make difficult guitar playing look so very easy. I’ll scroll more of your videos, but in case I don’t find it, maybe a King Diamond hardest guitar video. Another pair of extremely talented musicians; very overlooked. 🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻
most people praise the lead guitarist..truth is rythym is the song .I myself am a bassist but I still play lots of rythym guitar..this guy is nothing short of amazing hats off to you lad great job job..very impressive
Fantastic playing. Some of these songs are among the fastest, but not necessarily the hardest IMO. I think "Knight Jumps Queen" is tricky to do nice and tight.
Good technical thrash can be a really good workout for both arms and Annihilator are no strangers to technicality. great video, great riff compilation. Well, time to listen to some more Annihilator you familiar with Vektor? probably my favourite tech/prog thrash band
It's really great to hear a guitarist concentrate on rhythms so tight like you do buddy...you wouldn't believe so many of the so-called professional guitar players I've worked with that can't play rhythm in fact I'm a drummer and I play rhythm better than they do
Annihilator needs more memorable guitar solos. Riff wise, waters is unbeatable. It's awesome how he changes sixteenths to triplets, Overdrive to clean, so good!
I had a hard time trying to learn that No Zone "walking spider" riff until I finally got it. Nice video man! You should audition for Annihilator someday!

i love Annihilator but i'd say their songwriting has sometimes kept them from being huge. they are still big in Europe though. awesome playing dude
Their first album is still their best one
"Underrated" my arse
Jeff is one of my favourit musicians.
A beast on rhythm.....solos that hook...riffs that kill....and songs with a stunning drive. He's really amazing.

Jeff Waters and Dave Mustaine need to sit down and do an album together. It would be mind blowing and explosive! By the way great job man! \,,/
Jeff Waters was invited to play on Rust In Peace, just like Dimebag was before Marty auditioned.
Annihilator is on criticaly higher level then megadeth. For Waters there is nothing to do with mustaine.
