Might be due to PS5 having special API only for the PS5 while Xbox uses DirectX which is also for PC so you have compatible API but worse performance as a trade off
I Probly plan on getting this monitor for ps5. COD is like the main game that I play. I’m really just focused on consistent refresh rate, picture and overall smoothness
Bro monitor LG 27GP95RP UltraGear 4k 144 hz / Do you think I could do 120 fps on Black Ops 6? Or should I set the ps5 graphics to 1440p on the 4k monitor? I await your reply, thank you❤❤
Black ops destroys consoles as usual. I played the beta this morning on ps5 120hz and after every game ends the hdmi disconnects and connects more than 5 times until then next map has loaded. MW3 only checks the hdmi once before the menu loads.
I’m having the same issue and so are my friends the 120fps / HDR drops to 60fps after every game. We have to back out of the lobby to the main menu and find an another game for it to return to 120hz and I have a great hdmi 2.1 cable on a LG OLED screen
I'd like to know your gaming settings on PS5 and whether you recommend a 1440p OLED 27-inch monitor over a 4K 27-inch one in terms of image quality.safety 💯🔥
@@Adil-sv2xi Because I mainly play FPS games, it's better to run at 1440p for maximum smoothness. I’ve also heard that OLED panels, even at 1440p, offer better contrast between white and black, as well as superior image quality on a 27-inch screen.
@@Bennamou13014 if you get a 4k one, you can still lower the resolution to 1440p when playing fps games, but the oled point is definitely valid. Oleds are definitely better to look at, but is it really worth sacrificing the 4k option?🤔
I'd always recommend getting a monitor with HDMI 2.1 ports for ps5, you'll get most if not all features that ps5 offers that way, especially VRR. If you can afford OLED then absolutely yes. I'd never go back to LCD display after using OLED. Looks so much cleaner, way lower response times and great motion clarity..I've got a 4k 240hz monitor on the way should have to make video's with by the weekend hopefully.
Do you have the actual settings for this monitor that you could drop. And is it best to leave the sharpness at 50 or should it be all the way up to 100?
@samonaprid7782 You mean the monitors screen? It has a matte grainy screen yes, not noticeable when I use though..however I have another oled which is glossy and looks much better.
Hi! I have a LG OLED 120hz TV/ Ps5, and my problem is the game is keep changing the refresh rate after 2 matches or so. 120 hz stable, after 2 matches again only 60hz. I have to quit and back after every two-three matches because it locks on 60hz. Can you help me? By the way good videos.
@xDollarz in terms of response time and motion clarity yeah for sure, the only thing that let's this monitor down is the brightness, could be brighter but it's still a great monitor.
@jimmygaming7041 the only reason I can think why it shows 4k option is because the monitor has HDMI 2.1 ports. I didn't actually do anything just plugged it in. Does same with my xbox's
La PS5 tirne una menor resolución de reescalado por ende tiene un poco mejor rendimiento el lugar de la XSX q tiene un poco, mas de resolución es un poco mas inestablr los fps en esta, tambien aclaro q varia del mapa y q es solo una beta.
@MohamadRoham-j5g Series X just needs hdmi 2.0 with freesync, much cheaper to buy a monitor for xbox they're more compatible with a wide rage of monitors
As a xbsx user i must say the 120 hz looks more stable on ps5, the other video you uploaded of the series x there were lots of drops to 100-105
Yeah, they should lower down the resolution on the Xbox.

It is a beta. They give you a peice of lettuce rather than the well done burger. Game will be solid on day one. It’s just pre release software.

Hopefully BO6 will get optimized for PS5 Pro when it drops in November (rumored)....
Its gonna be good on stock ps5 so i expect to be 120hz constant

The point is that if you are looking for 120 fps in 4K the answer is PS5 Pro definitely. Otherwise, continue with PS5.
