Windows 8.1 ended support on January 10th 2023. They are some programs still working on this OS I see in this video.

@@qwerdsffdsIDK it is not working for me it is only available on Windows 7 not on Windows 8.1 or 8 so yeah that's why I gives an error when installing, and even Windows 10 and 11 sucks it doesn't let me focus on my work currently on Linux, I like Windows 8.1 because my old laptop had it and it's buttery smooth, and without my graphic card drivers I can't even run 120hz so yeah 😢😅
I used allot the windows 8.1 when i was 9/10 years old,because a local computer technician in my city didnt know how to install windows 10, so he downloaded windows 8.1 in my pc lol,and i loved and i liked the windows store for some reason... kinda nostalgic to me

It's sad seeing 8 loosing support, I used 8 for yearsssssss and installed it on pretty modern Ryzen systems because it's just so *FAST* I mainly use Linux, but I will forever love Windows 8.

Supermium = Latest Chromiun build (Chrome) built for old versions of Windows back to XP. I'm using it now and it supports Google sync so I can keep my bookmarks/passwords sycned as per normal.
at least it did not automatically install “Microsoft Edge: AI browser’
Unfortunately today when I update my 8.1, Edge automatically installed in my PC, so 8.1 is infected now.

You can deselect it from optional updates before downloading. Also you can easily uninstall any program from Control Panel --> Programs and Features
I still use Windows 8.1 even though it loses support and in my opinion it is the best Windows, my PC is weak, Windows works fine and is very light and for those who want to know which version of my Windows 8.1 And windows 8.1 Pro

how do you get wireless adapter's drivers in windows 8.1. everytime i try to install windows 8.1 the wireless adapter drivers just go missing

Yeah but i use a modern laptop and i decided to downgrade from Windows 11 to 8.1 and it wont show The Windows 8.1 Option

I don’t think there are any bank apps for windows but bank websites should work as long as ur browser is new enough

@@jackt6112 chrome should work for a while same with firefox and there is a browser called supermium which is latest chrome for unsupported oses. i use 8.1 on my core 2 duo laptop because 10 is too slow and commonwealth bank (australia) works online
