My choice was take her to the hospital or have her taken their. I took her. The hospital called Cps on me. I was upset, because they didn't tell me they were going to that. My daughter wanted hurt herself. They wanted commit her. I didn't know how, we going afford that. My daughter that has adhd. I ended up, getting names of places to call. We got home, some time past midnight. I called a place. I took her their. I think, we were their six hours. I my daughter and I are not allowed go back their. I think had do something with evaluation. I now, have a record.
I had take me daughter back same hospital. Because my daughter ran into something going to a bus stop. Nope, cps was not called.
If someone takes a kid in with same situation. I would be on guard. In case cps is called.

Do remember that doctors testified the injury may have been caused during birth - remember she had a horrible delivery which involved suction and a C-section. It would not be unusual for a minor injury to cause additional damage, enough to cause symptoms.

Obviously I'm assuming the father is innocent, or at the very least, guilt wasn't proved beyond doubt.

Exactly my feeling. There are kids who are really being abused out there and begging for help and CPS turns a blind eye to it. But as soon as they see a chance to bring misery and pain to loving parents, they take it and run with it for as long as possible! Pathetic!

As I understand it Casey Anthoney was on trial for murder, not child abuse. I guess murdering a child could be considered abuse, but that wasn't what she was charged with.Prior to that there were no signs of abuse. So no reason to take the baby away. The only one abused might have been Casey Anthony by her parents.

A lot of times they did it to each other playing around. I really felt for this poor man and ur right he should've sued everybody involved in this travesty of so called protecting this child. My nephew was suctioned an it showed 1/2month latter that he had a small brain bleed an also he just turnt 12 an he has a permanent bump on his head it's the size of a golf ball so now his skull is perminitaly that way the doctor had places the vacuum on the side of his head instead of the center an CPS also tried to take him away from my sister saying she shook him she ended up winning in court CPS took him away for two months those two months my sister could never get it back an also they made her go there so much shit to get him back

Ellen Campbell unfortunately the suction does more than “ease the baby out”. The suction caused a huge hematoma on my sounds head and resulted in 45 minutes of me pushing and them pulling- there was nothing easy about it. It was very traumatic, also resulted in fracturing my tailbone because of the downward pull!!

You can't Sue CPS. They only have to prove that they think you might have done something. They in many cases are above the law. One can only get a decent outcome with good attorneys and a fair judge that doesn't rubber stamp their hypocrisy which is difficult at best
@Christa, my sentiments exactly! They can sue the police department for appearing in a place without a warrant. He could sue the city and the state for restitution and serving a year in jail for a crime that he did not commit.

These assholes leave kids that are raped bruised, and then killed, it's so stupid they took my girls and have go thru hell because one window was cracked and had to change it, but I was negligent. For more than 2 years. I loved my girls more than my life and I never once touch them had them In school and they even said they were always so clean, and never missed school. He's innocent. My son rolled off the bed and though there was no evidence found, and even the doctors told CPS it was very possible, they still took him from. I got him back after completing parenting classes, but the trauma is real.

The judge gave him a break of only doing a year in county jail? And yet, we keep hearing that every county jail is over crowded to the point that they have to let people go all the time. An innocent man lost 18 months of his daughter's life. An she missed having her Daddy there. On top of it all, I bet they spent more money on lawyers than it will cost to send Naomi to college. What a croak!

I live near where this happened. This was covered extensively by the papers. Let me tell you if this angers you the other details will anger you even more. The judge or prosecutor (I don't remember) wouldn't let the doctors testify that would have told the jury that the child's injuries were because of of the severe, and mishandled, birth process the mother went through. The doctor that did testify did not tell the jury that the injuries were almost healed when they were discovered meaning that she suffered them AROUND THE TIME OF HER BIRTH!!!! The CPS and prosecutors in this area tied this poor man's hands when it came to providing a defense. I don't blame the jury in this case because they did not have nearly enough of the facts and it's always better to error on the side of protecting innocent children. This case never should have been brought to court. These doctors never spoke to the OBGYN to get the baby or the mothers history. It's disgusting.

Looking 4 Truth this is just another aggregious abuse of power by CPS and the corrupt family court systems in every state. I've been following a few ongoing court cases lately, against different agencies in the alleged "Department of Children and Family Services", and it absolutely blew my mind! If you knew how many parents across this country, have their rights completely, and unconstitutionally violated on a daily basis, it would blow your mind as well. I always thought that CPS was a necessary agency however, I now have to adamantly disagree. If a person needs to report suspected abuse, the police need to be contacted. If they find actual abuse, then the parents need to be arrested. This would also dramatically reduce repeat reports, that are vindictive in nature, because there is recourse for filing a false police report. They could have a few Social Workers that could work hand in hand to help with foster placement, ONLY in the event that a suitable family member is not located. As it is now, they routinely tear children from loving homes, from parents that do not abuse their children in any way, including grandparents, and other extended family, and they whisk them away from everything they've ever known, and they drop them in Foster Care on a whim. Unfortunately, statistically, these children are far more likely to actually suffer mental, physical, and sexual abuse. Many times at the hands of other foster kids, and even by the foster parents. Not all foster parents are bad. I know this, but some are so greedy, spiteful, and evil, that sadly, too many innocent children pay the ultimate price, at the very hands of those who are supposed to protect them, from harm allegedly inflicted on them, by their loving parents. Not only that, but CPS themselves are grossly negligent, when intervention is required, for cases of real, substanciated child abuse and neglect. Many of these children, that are truly in need of help, are ignored by CPS, and ultimately lose their precious lives under unfathomable circumstances inflicted by their abusers. The whole system is a broken, hot mess. Both CPS and the family courts have become completely corrupt entities, that rely on federal tax dollars, received by fraudulently convicting parents of abuse, even when there is evidence available that exonerates them. Evidence such as in this case, and many others like it, where judges only allow the so-called medical experts for the state to testify with information supporting their case.This is common practice, believe it or not.They are taking thousands of children annually, from non-abusive families, with literally no evidence of parental wrongdoing, other than hearsay from an anonymous hotline report. They are then "re-homing" these children with strangers, some that have no interest in the needs of the child, only the stipend they receive for taking them in. Sadly, in cases where infants are seized, once they are in the state's custody, in some states only six months, parental rights are involuntary terminated and their babies are adopted out in closed adoptions. In the CPS agencies own terminology, these children under four, especially infants, are deemed "highly placable". Everybody involved from the courts, contracted medical facilities, Foster Parents, lawyers, CPS, etc. receive substantial kickbacks for their roles in adopting these babies and children out under the Safe Families and Adoption act, that was signed into law during the Clinton administration. When a child is removed, they are supposed to make every effort to locate suitable family, and leave them in their care if possible, but they rarely do, as there is no funding for familial placement, or family reunification. There is unlimited federal funding for children with out of home placement. This makes foster care very lucrative and privatley owned group and residential treatment group facilities, billion dollar industries. The monetary incentive needs to be completely abolished. Pay all involved their actual salaries. Why do they deserve these outrageous bonuses for simply doing the job they were hired to do? I could go on and on. These agencies no longer have the best interests of the children, and they utterly destroy innocent families, far more than they help. Statistics show, that for every 1 child they take from a truly abusive situation, 17 children are seized unjustifiably. I feel so incredibly bad for the innocent parents that get caught in their crosshairs. It is actually frightening for parents of young children, because this can literally happen to anybody. I pray that this family is able to heal after the hell they've been put through.
American Horror Story 1,000 👍 CPS is worthless and egregious. The police can do the job of CPS workers, but make sure the facts and evidence are there. CPS acts on literally word-of-mouth. I've actually had someone revenge call on me twice. Extremely embarrassing and traumatic to say the least.

It's time, that we as a people, come together to stand against this tyrannical government entity. People need to stop turning a blind eye to this epidemic. My brother and I were severely abused as children. After a particularly bad episode my friends aunt (a resource officer) notified CPS, they investigated and said well your father said he only slapped you with the palm of his hand. Needless to say my face and body were covered in bruises. They did nothing. The case was closed. Meanwhile when I got home I suffered the consequences. I was 17 at the time and after I recovered I left home. I have ZERO faith in CPS and the police. When they should do something they don’t and when they shouldn’t they are like a pit bull.

Amanda White apparently they didn’t allow the drs who said the injuries from her birth to testify! Also the dr who did testify didn’t tell the court the injury was almost healed proving it was from birth! The father literally was screwed out of any defense he had.

This makes me absolutely furious with CPS. I cannot believe, in this day and age, CPS is still a thing. I know that there are children out there who need the protection of the agency, however, the fact that ANYONE, at ANYTIME, without having to identify themselves, can make claims...and CPS will take those allegations as truths!! It's a beyond broken system that needs to be fixed immediately.
The hospital f&!%@# up when they delivered the baby- only the effects were post-birth, so there was no way to prove it at the time of birth.
SEVERAL doctors concluded that the injuries were FROM HER BIRTH, not the father hurting her!
My theory? Someone knew someone who knew someone. What I mean is, odds are someone at the hospital knows the judge, or is close to someone ELSE who knows the judge. To cover the doctors/hospitals ass, the judge ruled in their favor.
If the hospital HADN'T accused this man of abusing his child, yet the child has sustained these serious injuries, they KNEW it would somehow come back to them. They KNEW they would get caught, blamed, and sued for the ramifications of her difficult delivery.
Politics are everything in this world, and nepotism is alive and well.

That's my whole point. lol They went to the same hospital where she was born, the hospital figured out they messed up, and so they pinned it on the family FIRST before it could come back to them. You may think what I said was far-fetched, but things like this happen ALL the time in this world. Hospitals/the medical industry KNOW this stuff happens, and so they make SURE to cover their asses, even if that means turning it around on someone completely innocent to make them look like they *aren't* the ones at fault, creating a diversion if you will... "well, we screwed up, which means we could get sued for millions and have a bad reputation, so.... hey! Let's blame it all on the innocent family. It takes the attention off of us, makes sure we don't get sued, we can always bribe the judge... so, we're good. No worries."

There are ppl in the world who believe that some hospital personnel would or could do no harm so when something is suggested, it's as if it's some "conspiracy theory ", but unfortunately stuff like this does happen & at times more than ppl realize...I just saw a case yesterday where the obstetrician at a certain hospital is being sued right now due to malpractice and he & a few of the attending nurses tried to say that it's the mom's fault that the baby got these particular injuries due to something she did prior to baby's birth...The baby suffered some shoulder injuries as they were talking & laughing, doctor had been drinking, crazy stuff but the hospital has come under fire because this same guy has 2/3 other suits filed against him for baby's being born with the same sboulder injuries as well as 9 prior malpractice suits so yes SHIT certainly does take place and rather than be held accountable for their wrong, they'll place blame on anybody else as long as it isn't them! Oh and my mom's 3 sisters are all registered nurses too😁😁😁(stories they've told over the years)😁😁

My question is what the hell was the jury told and given to look at? This man's fate was given to a group of strangers who unanimously believed he was a sick individual, and one of the jurors mentioned it was scary that he stuck with the statements that he was innocent. Yet it's very clear to what seemed to be everyone but the jury, hospital, CPS, etc., that the man was indeed innocent...

My baby’s skull was fractured during a vacuum delivery. Brain bleeds are sooo common and could go unnoticed for a long time. I can’t believe they got a blamed for this. 😮😮😮

They went through 9 months in total to have her and now your taking her away just for saving her from having a concussion or getting hurt. CPS gave me hell for an entire year, after I approached them about getting custody of my two sisters, ages 18 months and 4. I had just graduated high school, so I can understand their hesitation, but they not only gave me the runaround for a year, they also straight up lied to me on several occasions about my rights. I finally contacted my state representative, and her office directed me to an attorney, who ended up taking my case pro bono. Within 1 month, I had custody of my sisters. I didnt find out until years later, that the oldest was molested while in foster care.
This man was innocent and should had never spent a single day in jail. I don't understand is WHY in the hell didn't the jury understand that the DOCTORS said that the hematoma came from birth, not from a fall. DCFS had absolutely no right to go to someone's household to make sure that an alleged abuser is there or not WITHOUT PROBABLE CAUSE!!!!

The prosecution wouldn't allow the drs or obgyn from the mothers birth to TESTIFY the prosecution refused crucial evidence because if they didnt the jury would have seen that he was completely innocent. And the retinal damage was incurred during the delivery process

I heard this happens a lot in America. I’m an immigrant and was trying to get my baby to hospital after he fell off our bed. My husband doesn’t want to because of this and he’s American. He says you want the social worker to take our baby away and get him abused in foster homes?! This is so ridiculous in America and what a ridiculous system I feel sad

No like I'm serious, I slip on the stairs while holding him and fell hard on my ass which ached for like 2 weeks I even had to go to the doctor.😂 It was all worth it to make sure he didn't have a single scratch on him. But damn it hurt like hell.
