So proud that Walz is my governor! Even though I am 40 now, I remember being 7 yrs old and going to school hungry. I remember the shame I felt when my tummy would rumble during reading time. My parents did their best. Some days were just harder than others and I dont blame them one bit.
But when Walz signed the bill for breakfast and lunch for all kids, a part of my heart healed.
