Jokic is playing 40 minutes per game and that's not sustainable for 82 games in the regular season. He played in the olympics last summer and cumulative strain can add up and make him exhausted by the time playoffs are around.
You are correct , despite his resiliency and impressive stamina for such a big man even he will gas out having to always be a workhorse for this team which would be dead last were it not for him in it . I think I saw a stat that shows that without Jokic ( when he is on the bench resting ) the Nuggets are like -34 in efficiency when it comes to points . Without him being the floor general all the time they are almost like headless chickens . Jokic alone is worth more than this entire team but even he will gas out or get injured if they keep pushing him at this pace to play an average of 40 minutes per game .
Not bad at all but CB need to learn pass that ball little I watch in last two games every yime he have ball he never pass to anyone or he shoot for 3pts or he go on rim to dunk and he have chance to make some good layups but no! @@Serenity01871 Even the starters are not that impressive except for Jokic who is the best in the league of course . Murray has a max contract now and MPJ is close to it , what a joke , they certainly aren't playing like they deserve those salaries . Gordon is injured now and will be for weeks . CB has been the biggest good surprise for Denver , he is averaging like 1.5 ppg less than Murray and MPJ he really showed so far that he is a better starter than KCP was . As for the bench Westbrook has been solid so far , Strawther and Watson as well . But all of these stats and some as lame as they are , are still highly dependent on Jokic being on the floor , he makes the entire team better and some of them are a disappointment even with him . They are working Jokic like a horse to do 40 minutes per game on average , the dude has some impressive stamina for a big man but even he will gas out at this pace and possibly get injured . I also saw that the Nuggets without Jokic on the floor are like -33 in point efficiency . The Nuggets average like 121 ppg , without Jokic it would be like 88 ppg , you cannot tell me that is not bad . If something happens to him the Nuggets are not cooked , not roasted but charred to oblivion .
No one with young players has won anything, neither will Denver. For the title, you need experience not of one or two but more years. Denver's youngsters are good, but Jokic also needed four or five years to win the title. In other words, the youth will be ready, and I really mean that in two or three years, and then Jokic will be at the end of his career. Jokic will do Jokic stuff, but he cant win by himself, Murray is too injury prone. I think the addition of Westbrook gives them an intense , scrapy player with a supercharged motor. Nuggets need another big, PF to to help with rim protection and rebounding and I think they'll be unstoppable.
Jamal Murray and the Denver Nuggets agreed to a four-year contract extension, a maximum of $209 million, or $52,250,000 per season. Jokic to make $51,415,938 in base salary, Michael Malone asks Jokic to do even better - he hasn't said a word about Jamal Murray. .. Through eight appearances in 2024-25, Murray is averaging 17.9 points per game, but is shooting just 39.8 percent from the floor and 31.9 percent from deep. Jamal is a star of Michael Malone and Denver and is a member of the Canadian national team - Jokic is an MVP and an ALL Star, but Calvin Lawrence Booth doesn't know that. MPJ has a bigger contract than all players outside the starting lineup combined. Michael Malone never said a word to MPJ even when he was shooting 0 percent from 3.
If I'm a nuggets fan I will go over the moon again I want to see if the raptors will get everyone fooled again
He is the best player in the league in that his style fits almost anywhere and all time with a semi respectable squad.
Hell, even Russel Westbrook works with him
I saw someone say that the concussion protocol knocked the yips out of Murray 😂
There's almost a zero percent chance Jokic wins the MVP, even though he's clearly the most effective player in the league. Even if he kept his stats the way they are now, he'd need to finish first to have a chance to compete with someone like Tatum. They will just stop giving them to you, no matter how good you are (LeBron and MJ both got shut down even though they were still the best player in the league)

Russ avg a triple double 4 years nikloa I think this is his third time averaging a triple double?! It’s great to see and you always know something exciting is going to happen!

Then they lose the next game and bro releases "The Denver Nuggets are Over..."
Nah I've been high on the Nuggets since the offseason. Didn't overreact to their 0-2 start like many.

Our bench does well when they start but not when they one the bench lmfaooo
meaning, play with jokic and youll be great.

A lot of people have a word or two that they struggle with. It was a great video, why go all 7th grade just to tease him about something so irrelevant??
There’s sooooo much work that a small RUclipsr has to put in to prepare for, script write, record, and edit these videos and courage and consistency it takes to put your stuff out there and build a channel. But you take time to “joke” about a couple of syllables??
I just don’t get why people are so negative and hyper critical of each other these days when times are so hard in many ways and we really would all be better off if we encouraged and supported each other or just shrugged dumb stuff off at least. Can we just try to uplift each other a little bit yall? 💞
@@blabla-fw9ix Saric and Nnaji just aren't good enough and DJ is getting older.
Does anyone in the NBA set picks better than Jokic?
Steven Adams. He just got back.
Not bad at all but CB need to learn pass that ball little I watch in last two games every yime he have ball he never pass to anyone or he shoot for 3pts or he go on rim to dunk and he have chance to make some good layups but no! Understand he is young and wish to prove his place is on the floor but little more passing will be awesome

I hope that Murray hitting his head rebalanced his equilibrium and he starts playing the way e is supposed to
Not sure how you think a head injury is cool to crack a joke about but did you see him in his return game? Why not support your team’s players instead of making snide remarks about them even after they’ve helped your team win it all and already are doing great in their return from injury?
Nuggets “fans” like this make me wish you’d switch teams to one that you actually like and SUPPORT.
4:53 inetivable?
This Denver team is screwed because of what they are paying MPJ & Jamal Murray... Those 2 contracts alone will prevent them from building a competent championship roster
🤦
You’re not paying attention. They already have a championship roster. Those young guys are only getting better
@@jvwilli7:both are right in one way🙂 next year Murray and MPJ salary will be combined 90 million(50+40) this year is 70!!! Sory mate Murray is a lot inyury and inconsistence he played 4 playoff season for Denver and two didnt played becaus of inyury only buble(2020) and 2023 played really weel that mean 2 of 6 played good! And that is main reason he is average or liitle bitt up average because he is too inconsistence an lot inyury prone…same think is going for MPJ!! But yeas if both of them are healthy and at max form like 2023 then it is championship team other weise not!! It is only same and sad that waste Jokić talent can you imagine swap Murray and SGA? And MPJ with two good player?Buddy hield and one good defender?
How can the Suns not be in your west contenders at this point? Hamstring injury isn't season ending.
10 game in isnt enough to judge...everyone pontificating is just verbal masturbating right now, current trends will be different at the all star break....and never write off a team with a still young perennial mvp

The Denver Nuggets HAS everyone fooled.
I'm a nuggets fan but I'll admit they are not as strong as they have been in the past and their bench is whack. The Joker has been having to play out of his mind to keep them in these games and he can't keep that up for the whole season.
Have you watched or even followed the last 3 games??
They’d be great if they had someone like Gafford on the bench and maybe another shooter.
@leonyses2887 they lost their backup center when the rookie went down before the season. There were a lot of bags out there that could have been gotten for the backup role but Denver didn't do it.

my guy, jokic never goes anywhere wth u mean hes back
many other teams have also no bench as the celtics mavs etc ist anyway more about the starting five in the playoffs bench ovverrated
Keep the hate coming. They thrive on it. Love it.

@@Serenity01871 Even the starters are not that impressive except for Jokic who is the best in the league of course . Jamal is injured half of the time and averages like 18 ppg , MPJ same , you would expect from your 2 supposed main shooters that they would be above 20 it least but nope .
The lack of experience will be shown in difficult matches, regular season playoffs where youth and inexperience will certainly be felt, even though the youngsters leave their hearts on the field.
what are talking about they already won a title and braun was doing well
I'm loving it. GO NUGGETS
