This Is awesome!!! I loved that show back in the 80's. I always wanted a Coyote. I worked as an auto body Tech. for 30 years. I started out doing restoration, and although I am no longer doing autobody work as a profession, I still do restoration. I am very interested in following your Coyote project so I hope you keep making videos. It looks good so far. I imagine you are going to have to engineer and fabricate all the body mounting brackets and hardware. Keep us updated. Gary
Wow! That is an incredible undertaking! You are highly skilled! I was addicted to the Coyote when I was a young teen. Even today I think it's a beautiful looking car, even though I know it was a basically a Montage kit on a VW and they dubbed in the Ferrari sound and cut in footage from a Ferrari for the shifter and tach shots. Great idea you have using a Porsche for the platform. Kind of ties in with the Coyote's Porsche/VW roots. Can't wait to see this thing done! The fact that you will be able to use the Coyote scoops as real air intakes is awesome. Looks like the front end is going to be a challenge since the Coyote had that integrated open "scoop" designed after what the race cars used for downforce. Is there going to be enough room? I once considered buying the parts to try to make a Coyote but no way I have the skill. And trying to shape the body correctly and even make the decals is a major undertaking without being able to measure or mold from the original. I have a friend who has a clone who had a friend who previously did have an actual Season 1 unit 1 car but now I think Unique Movie Cars bought it back. Even with footage of some measurements of the real car it's just so hard to do.

great progress, very excited!
How is the progress?
Is it still possible to buy this kit or was this a lucky find on the body kit ?
I would love to buy one and build the rolling chassis
I love to modified the car 🚘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍
I didn't know so much modifying was done to the montage to make it the coyote
Doesn't look like there's going to be much clearance between the steering wheel and the body...
