@@TheVibesTeamAw man that sucks… we livestream our “Skull Sessions” on game day so you can be involved that way! Also we have a bunch of previous and current pregames and halftime shows on our RUclips channel. Hopefully that helps!

just 2 weeks earlier on Friday 12/15/23 my high school football team went there and won a state championship! The high school band was there too and they are also a military marching band. our team name is also Buckeyes too! GO BUX!! I live 2 hours east of Dallas :)

@@ILOVETIMMEH Nope, we traveled to Texas for the Cotton Bowl on 12/29/23. We were in Grapevine for a few days prior for rehearsals that were viewable by the public.

Yes! We were in Grapevine/Dallas for a few days before the game to run through or show and iron out the details! We had to recycle a show from a month earlier and iron out the details. What’s shown here is the last full run on gameday!

yeah sousaphone
Ok so it would be Bb quarter notes and then C->Bb->A->G. Le Reg is a march in cut time so they’re played as a syncopated eighth note rhythm. Also, the music is available for free on the band’s website. I hope this helps!

What is the name of the first song played?
Buckeye Fanfare. It’s typically played at away games before the Floating Ohio drill.

@@eee_inn2658 Agreed! It’s a pretty rare song for us to play and it doesn’t exist on any modern band discography. My best suggestion is to listen to the beginning of “The Top 10: Ohio Stadium” from 2022. It has crowd noise mixed in but it’s another good rendition of it.
