Idk about that. I personally enjoy the game(doing one final chaos clear atm) but playing through it you can see areas where you know they needed more time or a bigger budget. i just hope they are able to make another console star ocean after the mobile game.
Clavitz Rain still waiting on them to make a game better then 2. 1 was great too 3 and 4 pretty good as well. I found this one really really underwhelming. Boring story easy combat lame characters and the main antagonist was just so lame in everyway it ruined if for me. Thats where 2 really holds on for me the second half was great
I love Incarnation of the Devil, I loved it when I first fought Lucifer (Cyril) in 2 and I almost had my first geek moment when I heard in Valkyrie Profile, it's one of those staples I never get sick of.

Ughgh, so many...rage quits. Battles that would last for hours, having my party dead and relying on Myuria's quick revival and either Reimi and Bacchus' special attacks to snipe her from beyond the range of her AoE attacks.
Like, I know its been said a bunch of times, but it really cannot be understated how the effects completely cover up the enemy. I'll grant that I haven't played the game, but combat must run pretty much on auto-pilot when you don't even need to see the enemy to win.

I love this series because of the bonus dungeons. A person like myself loves these challenges. I cannot wait until I play this game and beyond this game.

i watch this vid before i got SO5, now im in Maze of Tribulation i just realize how great is your strategy, Victor spamming skill with reserve rush weapon so Fidel can keep using Ethereal Blast, and Anne somewhere in the back with manual movement as back-up maybe, your healer is both Miki and Fiore so when one down the other can cover, im guessing Fidel has the best defense in here, because he managed to be in front with Victor with dead man walking, if you can tell me what are they`re roles in here i`ll be so greatful

nippon ichi has no limits as to how strong YOU can get, either. has there even been a baal (except for maybe fully boosted LOC prinny baal) that you can't OHKO with the right setup and enough work?
IIRC you have to lvl up Bloodstorme revolution to lvl8+ so that he will heal you enough to have Victor's HP never deplete :D so you're invincible.....truely....
Yeah, I wish they had an option to make effects more transparent. I like this game, but I can't easily manage the harder fights like this one without being able to track where my characters are.
They need to tone down the effects, I can't see half of the attacks. Just boom pretty explosions, numbers....chaos. Oh god it's chaos theory! Still can't wait till I can play this game.

That would be Chaos Mode. Imagine that 129 mil increased four fold and everything hitting like a truck despite having the best weapons and armor in the game. Have fun.
