I like all your videos but I especially love the technique videos that focus on a specific technique. I would love to see more. I have been training in Krav Maga for 2 years and your videos are actually what got me started. Thank you!

I absolutely love Krav Maga. I love our art. I think it is simply the best system for self defense there is. It's not good for the ring for reasons I've explained elsewhere many times, but it is perfect for the street, and that's all that matters to me. That said, the proliferation of Krav videos, including your own, that shows instruction of our techniques but not application of our techniques is a disgrace because by not applying our techniques, they come off as fantastical or "bullshido" to the viewing general public -- many vulnerable members of which might take up Krav Maga if only what they see online is proven to be effective in real life through: 1) drilling against resistance; 2) sparring; and, 3) use in street altercations.
This is why I plead with channels such as yours to include these three things in their videos. I realize it is difficult to find examples of Krav use in street altercations, but certainly it would not be difficult to film and post drills against resistance and sparring. So why not do so? Doing so would not only raise your subscription rate, but would buttress Krav's credibility and usage by those in need of self defense training, which means doing so would be win-win for all involved. It would yield the benefits our wonderful art deserves.

Yeah, I would love to see some videos of live use. There don't seem to be many available online. Might be a reason for that. I personally think it may be safety concerns holding people back. I am enrolled in their Krav program, which is much, much more comprehensive than what they post to youtube, and I understand your concern. I think these are a marketing strategy. We do train with partners and drill with resistance. Some students spar with their partners. We have some mastery drills that are like sparring. Learning online presents its own challenges but I do like this school.

I've been training in krav maga for a couple years and because of its violent, no holds barred philosophy, it is difficult to spar. We work fast and heavy on bags and then work the same techniques with partners and pads, but without the same intensity. Being such a brutal combative, it isn't feasible for most schools to spar.

This is good, I feel like I could use more instruction on the side clinch. My problem area is transitioning from defenses, like a choke defense, into an effective side clinch. I'm working on it for sure, but I am always happy to get more insight and see more demonstrations of the move.

Closest weapon to closest target is the theory I have always learned, good technique though!

What would you do if the opponent is taller than you?

How does one escape that side control?

His left hand still can punch your balls when you have his head and right arm.
