What's crazy now is even New Zealand teams are looking at Ireland and trying to take this style into the super rugby completion. I remember for years we envied the all-blacks way of playing!
Potentially the first ever grand slam decider at home? I'm getting tired of hearing this. We've had 3 grand slams. Not hard to research. One was won in Belfast. 1 in 3. Belfast is on some foreign island apparently. Players in the 6 are only playing because of residency rules? Grand parent rule? I am confused perhaps? No confusion, this mindset is what worries me most (behind loyalist attacks) about reunification. Is Tyrone a foreign team winning Sam? Like seriously, stop this absolute nonsense.
The hype is getting worrying. Listening to Horgan and Bowe on the BBC rugby podcast yesterday talking about Ireland like we are the 2nd coming of Christ. Stephan Jones is calling us the greatest 6 Nations ever. Johnny's last game in 6 Nations and all he will achieve etc etc. If ever a team has been set up to fail it is Ireland this week. I hope I am wrong but I see England taking hugh motivation from this, and they are still a good side.
Let them have the motivation. I'm nervous too but at some stage you have to sit back and enjoy it. We also have to stop being the persistent underdogs and just sit with the favourites tag. We're number 1 in the world for the last 8 months for a reason.
You can't move into that level of greatness without being noticed tour win in New Zealand no 1 in the world and a Slam on the line sorry but fans just have to accept that's part if the deal
13 years of epic and legendary performances. Will probably be remembered most for 'Le Drop' against France in 2018!🙂
Or lifting the 2023 Webb Ellis trophy 🏆 😜

Awesome mental and physical resilience.
The toil on the body and mind at that level is 8ncredible.
Pure respect.
So fitting that his last ever match he will likely become the leading six nations point scorer. True legend of Ireland and northern hemisphere rugby.
Owen Farrell will take that over the next two years
I ❤ Johnny.
The GOAT
Legend.
Something I love about this lad is his accent isn’t typical Leinster same as Dian Healy they don’t care about fitting in they are just themselves
