In his mind, anyone who started comedy after 1985 that made it to Rogan even 1 time, is a "Rogan-sphere" comic. Dude was hilarious but spent the last 15 years being a bitter hasbeen.
@@rams6992 None of that has to do with Joe Rogan though. Shane already blew up for over a year before he got on Rogies. Soder, mark, morril, are all NY guys. Not Rogan scrubs like Bert, Hinchcliff, Schaub, Segura, etc.
I know Jay Mohr. JJ. First off, I find it very hard to believe he physically abused his opening acts. I think Bert is whining when he should be saying thank you for the exposure he got opening for Jay when he was selling out venues. Since this all happened, Jay did and does a lot of really hard work on himself. And he’s obviously bitter, and rightfully so. But it is a shame that he doesn’t get the crowds and recognition, these days, he deserves. He’s a brilliant talent. If he was stealing material, well that can be loosely defined. He certainly doesn’t need to. He has his shit together now, and whether he’s on stage or not, he’s always performing. And it’s unique and original material. He’s highly intelligent and thoughtful, and a very nice guy who doesn’t let fame get to his head. And also a very honest guy- almost to a fault. He’s not afraid to speak his mind when warranted, but what he loves more than anything, and what he was born to do - is make people happy and to make them laugh. That’s his MO always and what brings him joy. And I know it kills him that his profile has diminished to where he’s cancelled tours. But it has nothing to do with his not being gut wrenching hilarious because he absolutely still has it. I hope he gets back on top where he belongs. He’s too talented and passionate about it not to be.
That's right, Ms.Buss. Jay Mohr can be very funny but his vices and Hollywood projects kind of slowed down his comedy career. It's just of matter of getting those sets in, and appearing on the right podcasts. His TFATK appearing gave me the impression that he wasn't connected to the top comedy podcasters. Tigerbelly was a good move.
Not only is Jay infinitely funnier and more talented at everything than Joe Rogan, some of the most laugh out loud moments I ever had was while listening to Jay's Mohr Stories podcast and Jay Mohr Sports radio show. He's a better more engaging interviewer while being able to change the mood from serious and somber to absurdly funny with an improvised impression. If you go back to those 2011-14 years and listen to the same guests that were both in Mohr Stories and Joe Rogan they were so much better on Mohr Stories.
There’s no doubt Bert told Jay to tell the joke. That’s NOT a joke thief, even when Jay told it in first person. What’s ironic is that Joe told Bert to not be bullied into defending Jay, yet bullied Bert into dissing Jay. 🤔

You need to find the clip where Bert talks about a friends manager telling him to slow down on the drinking and Bert basically cussed him out and told him his place at a dinner table (described by Bert in a Bert story on a podcast) Bert is the same way Jay was with his power. Bert is constantly telling people what to do. He mentions joes best comedy friends as someone joe works WITH. But I’m sure theirs been plenty of people out of this pack that joe put in their place over the years. If you watch all these podcast regularly over the years, it’s very obvious that all these guys have the same ego power trips. As much as Joe preaches he’s neutral and friendly, it’s so obvious when he’s trying to tear someone down and change opinions. He’s done it plenty of times and uses his Stan fans as the enforcers. He’ll ask leading questions and harp on the wrongs they’ve done. Many examples
When you start to actually listen to all these podcast they all do blend together with everyone's ego but than at the same time you don't know what is genuine or not. You come in thinking you listening to genuine life's of comics only to be hit with the realization that they are always on. Nothing is genuine and this is all for show. I love Bobby but stop listening to all his podcasts because of the drama with other "Comedians" I can't tell what is just for clicks and what is genuine. Which is sad because you want to connect with them. I don't know who this guy is in the video. And I bet he has fans that like him like I do Bobby. But if he is crying about not selling gigs but is married to a billion. Where is he really struggling. Bert says he is not an alcoholic and a good guy. But videos of him prove he isn't. And no amount of people defending him or people saying it is okay will lead me to believe otherwise. When I'm watching him get drunk, I'm watching him yell at people.

The fact that he took a washed-up hack clown like Dice seriously is funnier than anything else Jay has ever done or said. ADC has been doing the same unfunny tough guy character forever; it's should be completely impossible to take him seriously. A granny in a wheelchair is more intimidating.
@seth5143 he's also omitting the fact that dice had told dice to die and get in a coffin(an otto and george joke) and that Dice told Jay to watch his back.
I’d take Jay tickets over Burt any day. I liked him in the 90’s. The joke thing seemed mutual from what I remember hearing in other videos.
My issue with Rogan is his defense of Amy Schumer. He defended her joke theft simply because they are friends. She was an obvious plagiarist.
Dave Chapelle is also a joke thief that got away with it. He stole Owen Benjamin's LGBTQ in a car Trans bit.
Man, I bet Rogan really loses sleep over that.

The fact that Mohr thinks Morril and Soder are in the Rogan-sphere shows you just how checked out he actually is.
In his mind, anyone who started comedy after 1985 that made it to Rogan even 1 time, is a "Rogan-sphere" comic. Dude was hilarious but spent the last 15 years being a bitter hasbeen.

That is criminal that Jay Mohr isn’t doing arenas..Dudes ten times funnier than Rogan and Bert combined.

Bert: gets mad because he himself isn't funny.
One of the first signs of true maturity, is when you stop blaming others for your failures. Regardless of the situation.

Rogan’s comedy is just scream talking and climbing on barstools.
I know other ppl have said this but I promise you, I saw him live once and he was great. He did a surprise open at a shane Gillis show in Vegas - maybe it’s because my expectations were low but he had a great set, really funny, no humping or screaming - Shane had an off night I suppose too (only seen him once) so Joe was the highlight that night
I have a friend in Austin Texas who said this exact same thing after he went to the Mothership, Rogan is not funny on his podcast and maybe his taped specials will always suck, but I’ve heard multiple times now and seen many comments saying Joe is solid live, and I would pay to see him again /end rant
Saying something like that makes everyone think you’re the kind of guy that would drop your wife off at her boyfriend’s house.
He is neurotic, trying to convince the crowd he’s funny by screaming. Im funny right? Im trying to scream my “funny” into your bones!!!
Rogan usually has 2-4 really good jokes each special. His bit about Noah's Ark going back from a 2003-2004 special is legendary. Probably not anyone's absolute favourite comedian, but Joe purely as a comic is 10x funnier than Bert any day of the week

I didnt even know that Jay Mohr WAS a comedian until maybe a year ago lol.
Grown man, married to a billionaire, who won’t take responsibility for himself isn’t really getting me to feel sympathetic.
You need to find the clip where Bert talks about a friends manager telling him to slow down on the drinking and Bert basically cussed him out and told him his place at a dinner table (described by Bert in a Bert story on a podcast)
Bert is the same way Jay was with his power.
When I'm watching him get drunk, I'm watching him yell at people.
hes the biggest fuckin asshole to young jamie. hes always belittling him. kinda fucked up
