    LSD is not a substance to abuse and you need to be mentally prepared for it. That being said, a 6 hour trip was worth 6 months of therapy for me. I struggled with depression for my whole life, and after 3 trips over the span of about 6 months I genuinely love life and the people around me in a way that’s hard to describe. Most drugs dull your mind, this substance expands it

    • @JB-bm1to
      @JB-bm1to 4 месяца назад +28

      What do you mean be mentally prepared? I’m thinking about trying it or mushrooms. 15 years of therapy hasn’t helped, maybe this will.

    • @user-tz3yx8dr1j
      @user-tz3yx8dr1j 4 месяца назад +28

      It might, but it's only an opportunity. To maximize that potential, trip with someone you admire and trust. A sympathetic and "experienced" mental health professional is optimal. To prepare, read a lot about the subject and foster within yourself a sense of anticipation. However, in the end, you will only really know by doing.

    • @carsonmalleet4367
      @carsonmalleet4367 4 месяца назад +51

      @@JB-bm1to It’s a completely indescribable mental experience, in my opinion, you need to do your mental homework and learn to stop pushing your demons into your subconscious. You are going to realize some things aren’t worth thinking about anymore, some things are worth paying more attention to, some things happening or that happened are your fault, and some things weren’t your fault. These can all be really hard to accept, and hard thoughts to deal with especially when you are in a mindstate that makes you think about those things in a very focused and detailed manner. If you approach a trip with the right mindset and setting, you leave it understanding yourself, forgiving yourself and others, and being able to take the lessons of the past while leaving the rest of it behind. You also get to see the world with new eyes, and to me it’s super beautiful. I have a new appreciation for the beauty of our world.

    I came to the conclusion that my friend’s dog has the most pure soul anyone can possess. I cried thinking about how he could go on to do so many great things if he were a human but he’s stuck in a dog body. I should’ve been the one in a dog body but I somehow got lucky and I’m a human. Depression has a source if you can find it and let it go you're out. I tripped on THC Edibles and realised I'm always sad because I haven't cried in almost 10 years. In these 10 years I've lost my dad, my cars have been repod, my son has been hospitalized among other heartbreaking things. Then realised I've been pretending to be so strong I've forgotten how to cry.

      Mushrooms are very medicinal. This is why anybody familiar with psilocybin and any other kind of fungi will tell you, "They are alive." They have a very ancient wisdom. To my experience, all mushrooms have always said, "Pay attention to your life. How you think, how you feel, and what will you do with the information that you always knew, but now are seeing in this point of view." This is why mushrooms are so respected in tribal cultures. This mental health treatment works for me too. Half micro doses do the trick for me. At least a few days at a time with lengthy time in between. Never addictive. Thank you for sharing this point!

He thought it was funny to give me way too much 🙄. I started seeing demons. Then I went outside to try to get some air, and I saw aliens getting off and on a spaceship. Then my ex-boyfriend turned into a wolf in front of me. I remember getting down on my knees and crying out to God to please make it stop. But I was tripping for more than 24 hours, unfortunately. I knew somehow that the aliens were demons as well btw 🤔. It was that night that I knew there was a spiritual world. Thankfully, God used this experience for good because I found my way to Jesus Christ a few years later. And in the end, it worked together for good, at least. But I would never take it again, obviously. And I truly think my ex was evil to do that to me.

    For anyone planning to take any type of psychedelic, you have to understand that the psychedelic itself is not going to help you in a therapeutic way, psychedelics what they do is that they make you face your reality and emotions, you are the one that changes the perspective of life and can make it more beautiful. Please be careful around psychedelics, do not abuse them and respect them as they are, always remember to stay in a positive mood with people you trust a lot and that will help you, they aren't physically dangerous, but a challenging/bad trip can make you have a pretty rough time, and realization of several things in your life could take longer than if you had a good trip. Always remember to research and test your stuff before consumption. Happy tripping!

    In the 60’s, LSD purity was safer. Dose variation was an occasional issue, but dilution with other substances was basically unheard of due to the low cost of the drug. Today, with the advent of low cost fentonal and a desire by some dealers to make it addictive would concern me today. Be careful

  • @Cassady1AndOnly
    @Cassady1AndOnly 4 месяца назад

    I've had it twice, 100mcg, and both times I was left with a profound sense of inner well being that stuck with me for weeks. I've been chronically depressed for 20 years and just one dose did more for me than anything else ever has over all of those years. If I could take even fractional doses, the sheer relief I would feel from chronic issues would give me the breathing room and motivation to form better habits. It upsets me so much that the primary reason psychedelic's were labeled a schedule 1 drug was because it was feared too many people using it could break down norms the government wanted to keep, mostly along the lines of conformity to what society generally accepted at the time.

    The best way I can describe it is it's as if you're learning about everything for the first time, but you already know the details you learned about it, you know what it does, but you're seeing it with fresh eyes. Like a car, you formed you view of it a long time ago as a kid, probably before you can consciously recall, but now on acid you realize it's like this big robot suit people wear to go fast. It's the cliche about a guy on drugs staring at his hand in amazement. And then you think about things like death and war and the concept of an afterlife with this fresh perspective and it's kind of amazing. I get the "when the doors of perception are cleansed" quote, it wipes away your perception but leaves you armed with the material knowledge.

    We had blotter, purple microdot, and green barrel head in the 70s. I never had any life changing experiences. I just got mesmerized by flashing lights on a sign while driving and it made the posters on my bedroom wall fluctuate from rectangles to rhombuses. Every time I came down it felt like my body was completely hollow.

    They don't address it until the 14 minute mark but my one and only experience with LSD was 40 years ago as a senior in high school. The peak of the high came a couple hours in. After about 6 hours, I was ready to come back down and feel normal again. But the high stayed with me for another 8 or 10 hours beyond when I was done. Now, in 2024, knowing what I know, my interest in macrodosing is increasing on the daily.
