@ Those DX7II's are awesome. I tried to buy a DX7IID on Reverb, but it turned out to be an undisclosed train wreck of a mess, so I returned it. I still have my TX802, but I mostly use FM on my Kurzweil PC4 SE, so I can layer and split like you can on yours.

I was lucky. Nearly scammed on a iiD but held off. Found this one in quite a bad state so lowball-offered (really nice guy too).
Needed a full service and clean up. Then I put a CPmagnetic Gotek USB drive in it as the disc drive was fubar, and then upgraded the screen with an OLED. It’s a truly wonderful machine that I’ll never get rid of now. Way better than the dx7s I had a few years ago. I’ve also got an SY77 to compliment it 👍 I also use the Kronos FM, as well as other plugins.
      Those tx802 are epic too.

@@AudioGenika Fubar. 😛The Kronos does FM? I didn't know that. I wasn't too much into Korg stuff for years (using a crappy DSM-1 will do that!) until I got an opsix a couple of years ago. It's different, but I like it.

I bought it new (pretty much one of the first in the uk). I bought it to replace a load of flood-damaged kit (long story! 😂) but the opsix is based on the Kronos fm engine (mod7).
