    One extra thing i would say is: If you export Zbrush model of the High poly with the color vertex you can transfer on ID you color texture really helpfull :)

    "...and that's it, in few steps we have amazing details!" :)))) Except.. you have to have amazing lowpoly with amazing UVs and amazing hipoly first.. :) But seriously, nice model and thanks for the tutorial..

      +Nathakorn Jeerapong That is the intention! But, I am also thinking rendering in Marmoset Toolbag maybe render in Substance Painter Iray. I am trying to give more option and people can choose the best to showcase their portfolio.

    It is necessary to uv unwrapp the model in zbrush before exporting to substance painter? Or SP generates it automatically?

    • @RaveeCG
      @RaveeCG  4 года назад

      The new versions of SP can do a pretty good job of Uv Unwrap, but when I made this video it did not had this function. Also, sometimes I saw that on some more complex models it's not working.

    My low poly is blocky? I imported it in before and it was smooth. Did I do something wrong? Hopefully baking the details from the high res mesh will fix this.
    Edit: I fixed this by exporting my polygons from zbrush and not maya. Thank you!!
    This video is AWESOME!!!

    I love this workflow, Just to be clear this method will work fine if the lowpoly version is Good and matches the high poly one right? So if my lowpoly version is bad or different from the high one i would have to do retopology? What i don't understand so far is why would someone do retopology when they can just get the lowpoly version from decimated high poly or from lowering the subdivisions from the highpoly.
    Thanks a lot for the tutorial

      I want to know this too

    • @MoustafaShaheen
      @MoustafaShaheen 4 года назад

      Christian Nilsen it’s been a year since I got into Zbrush, For my workflow, I just create the lowpoly version first, Uv map it, Export to Zbrush and the high poly sculpted version then I bake. Always work and good. I try to skip the hassle lol

      Moustafa Shaheen Hi, I’m trying to learn everything fast to create 2D art with 3D elements. I use Blender and Zbrush so far, and looking into Substance Suite too.. Still confused about low poly and when to use that. Basically I want to rig my model to be able to adjust him for the 2D art in different positions (not animated... yet) In what software you create the low poly?

    • @MoustafaShaheen
      @MoustafaShaheen 4 года назад +1

      Christian Nilsen oh that’s cool! I work with Maya

    • @christiannilsen2835
      @christiannilsen2835 4 года назад +1

      Moustafa Shaheen Maya is pretty much standard today. But I’ve seen Maya users drool over Blender lately, so I’m not sure what to learn first. I need to create pet meshes, rig them and be able to create realistic hair/fur. My idea was Zbrush > Blender > “some great texture software” > “Best hair/fur creating tools = Awesome rendering :) Any suggestions is greatly welcomed

    High poly and low poly both model should be UV Unwrap??

    • @RaveeCG
      @RaveeCG  4 года назад +1

      Only Low Poly, the new Substance Painter will make you a pretty good unwrap now, depending on your mesh!

    what about the eye..i have mesh that have multiple sub tools how do i export and bake them ?

    • @RaveeCG
      @RaveeCG  6 лет назад

      I didn't had eyes when I have baked turtle maps and I have baked them separately. But you can make on UV of your objects, name them accordingly and import in substance painter and bake maps.

    • @AliRJavid

      Yes you can ... You have to make Different material For Each Subtool in Maya or Other Software ..Then import it in Substance painter
