Tbh all the scenes with Lilly always made me super sad. I know this is a movie but the sad reality is some children have to go through this. It breaks my heart.
It’s so sad that Lily instinctively knows to hide under the table. It shows that this isn’t the first time this has happened and possibly not the last.

Greg got exactly what he deserved for putting his hands on Rabbit's mom like that, and Rabbit's mom at that point didn't want to face the fact that she was responsible for her situation, getting with a total asshole for the sake of his disability checks and refusing to pay rent.
