    Is the water glass pure or is there a bit of water in it? I’d like to do some casting and they’ve got jugs of this stuff on Amazon at varying purities

    Your zirconia additive SHOULD be able to handle at least 3200 f when calcined, so as a surface coating, it should be fine, provided you fire it properly over the right length of time at the right temperatures for proper calcination.

    How close have one been to a hospital visit? Make a alum. shield with peep hole and wear wet cotton long sleeves and gloves man!
