When I was a kid in the 1970s, my parents and I went to the Pancho's off SW Loop 820 and Old Granbury Rd. for many years. That one moved to the shopping center on Old Granbury Rd and Hulen, facing Old Granbury Rd. It took up part of the space Buddy's supermarket used to be in many moons ago. I've lived in the "Mid-Cities" since 1991, and used to go to the long-departed Euless, Texas location frequently on Industrial Blvd and Hwy 10. I also went to the North Richland Hills location on Hwy 26 across from Golden Corral several times. That Pancho's was in the building where Shoney's used to be. Most recently, I went to the newest one on Rufe Snow in North Richland Hills, but it closed during or just after the worst of COVID. It was real good when I first went to that new one, but last time I was there, it had gone downhill. Then it closed.

Oh wow, I never thought I'd see the Pancho's line again. Thanks so much for uploading this! I grew up with Panchos in Metairie (a suburb of New Orleans). We got a bag of tacos and sopapillas for takeout a lot and also dined in. I remember the long line and the partition very well! This one looks so much like the one I remember. Pancho's sopapilla is the baseline I judge all sopapillas. Every single one since has been lacking.

Day One Minecraft I sure miss the Metairie one too. This one in the video looks just like it. I also remember the long lines and being starving haha. They tore it down after Katrina. I still look for the old place but they built something new there and it's confusing to find the old spot. I can still hear them singing the happy birthday song. 🥑🌶🌮🍴

I know y’all! They closed here over 12 years ago and just tore the building down last summer! Of course Posados was right across the street and that probably took a lot of their business. Loved it!!

Blast from the Past. Our Main Pancho's Restaurant was on Piedmont St. in Houston I believe it. Here in Ohio 2023, Today Is Enchilada Day, I'm here to see the White Chicken Enchiladas, Yayy!! I did See in the Video. I had them
only once in my Life. Ahh the Rice&Beans, Chalupas&Tacos. raising the Flag, please bring me 4,5,6 more tacos and 1 Chalupas.
I'm making Chicken Enchiladas if I can find recipe. The Red Beef Enchiladas are easy to make. The only Tamales I get now is if I make my own. But my Tamales Need Much Improvements.. I can and do make the Sopapillas. My Daughter still remembers me taking her there in early 90s. Thanks For Video, As soon as the front door was opened, The Smells I Remembered Came Back All Soo Well...

Grew up in the 90s going to Panchos out in Oak Cliff that was next to an old Blockbuster where my cousin and I would go to on the weekends. There was an old Pizza Patron there too before you could find them everywhere. Charbroiler, Jerry's Tacos, Taqueria Chanos, all within like a 2 mile radius.

Just to let you know that the very first Panchos Mexican Buffet opened up in 1958 in my home town of El Paso, Texas. The price for the buffet back then was $1.76. And one of them was right up my street on McRae Blvd. five minutes from my house. It was also headquartered here in El Paso until the owners moved it to Fort Worth, Texas in 1966. They then opened up more places later on. The original taste is probably not the same anymore. Oh well. I sure do miss it though. One side note though... they also own Carlos and Mickeys Mexican restaurant on Magruder Street which is still open in El Paso.

Was told the Panchos on Marback closed. Wish we had Panchos in NE San Antonio. Please! Yes, San Antonio has good Mexican restaurants but none so good as Panchos with the delectable, delicious chile rellenos. How on earth could they make these heavenly delights with the lighter than air, spongy crust. The fried rellenos are just not as wonderful. Please come to San Antonio! We love you!
