Yay! The Christmas Intro! Mouth watering recipe, beautiful cook, red nails, IT'S Christmas again!! Love you, hope your holidays are as wonderful as you are making ours.
Hi 👋 Alessandra How are you hope all is well ,I can’t wait to make them can i switch out for 🍒 they look simple to make Thank you 😊 once again , for all the wonderful recipes.you make it look so easy .This is why I love 💕 this time of the year . It’s fun to make cookies I started today and I will be baking for the next week and a half.then it’s time to make the zeppole. Most of my cookies 🍪 I will be making this recipe for Christmas 🎄 🎁 gifts for my Dad and my nephew s MY sister and Brother don’t have time to do 🏡 home baking so its a real treat for them . Xoxoxo take care and I wish you and your Family a very Merry Christmas 🎄 and a happy 😊 new year .
December 1, first Christmas cookie of the season! I wish I could post a photo! My "loaves" look fake they are so beautiful- golden and shiny! I cooled them for 8 minutes and then sliced. Still a few broke but what a treat for the maker! (That would be me). I got a little adventurous and hydrated the cranberries in an 1/8 cup of Grand Marnier (orange-flavor liquer). Not sure that it added anything to this already-excellent recipe so, next time, I'll use water and sip the Grand Marnier! Thank you Alessandra. I'm so happy to find your site. I'm a very happy new subscriber! Buon Natale!
Dear Maria, Love love the idea of disking the berries! I keep a jar of soaked raisins in rum for my apple cake. Yes, we get up enjoy the broken pieces. 💕 we deserve them after all the work. Sorry for not replying sooner not sure why I missed your message! 💕 Grazie di cuore for your beautiful words.
Great video!! Brava Alessandra, Santa Claus wants to learn your recipes :-). I like so much your cooking Style ;-). See you next video thanks for sharing. Regards from Salerno, Italiaaaa
Thank you! You can switch up the pistachio for other nuts. Also switch vanilla to 3/4 tsp almond extract. It’s really a very versatile dough. Let me know what combination you choose. 💖💖
Thank you for this recipe Alessandra. I have a biscotti recipe but it’s with almonds.Have to do this recipe. I want to share one trick I learned when slicing . Slice them using an electric knife, it really makes it easy and they do not break🙋♀️👍👍👍😀
Dear Maria, Thank you so much for the tip. La vecchia a 90 anni diceva che c’è sempre da imparare. Never too old to learn. I’ll invest on an electric knife. Grazie 💖💖💖 love love biscotti and all the different variations.
Thank you for the video tutorial! I will definitely try this recipe. I do have one question. Have you ever tried shaping the logs on the parchment and then simply sliding the parchment onto the baking sheet? I wonder if that would help with the logs not losing their shape.
Hello Janet, Thank you so much for watching. This is my favorite go to recipe for biscotti and I just change the type of nuts and berries. I will try with the parchment paper but I’m sure a little flour will still be needed. It is a soft dough. I’ll be making them this weekend and I’ll try and let you know. Grazie di cuore 💚🤍♥️
I just made these ( with almonds as I didn't have unsalted pistachios) but it just might be the best biscotti recipe I have tried. They are perfectly crisp but not too hard and so tasty! How do you store yours Alessandra?? Buon Natale to you and yours!! xo
Dear Jo, You just made me so so happy!! Messages like yours that give me the drive to keep posting recipes and sharing my heritage. Merry Christmas to you and loved ones. I store them in or near tight container or even a Ziploc bag Buon Natale 💫🎄🎁💚🤍❤️♥️
❤ these cookies. Making a second batch everyone in my family enjoyed them. This recipe is quick, easy & delicious. Thank you for sharing. Buon Natale! 🎄🇮🇹
Hi Nathan, you sure can. It’s a great base biscotti recipe and the pistachio or cranberries can be changed with other things to your liking. You can also swap out vanilla and add 3/4 tsp almond extract. E hoy! 💖
HI! Great Thanks ... I'm using toasted hazelnuts. I would love to know if I can use butter rather than oil .. is that possible? What would the exchange be if I can do that?
Thank you so much for watching. Sounds delicious with the hazelnuts. You can certainly use butter instead. I would do a almost 2/3 cup of butter. Let me know how they turn out. These are one of my favorite cookies. Delicious anytime 💖
@@alessandrasfoodislove Thank you so much!! I didn't expect to get a response this soon. I'm in awe. Orange, Hazelnut & Cranberry biscotti this weekend!! We love them spread with homemade orange marmalade (our friend makes it from oranges grown in her garden) 🍊🍊

Hi Christine, This is not my grandmother’s recipe. Biscotti are not a very popular thing when I was growing up. We host an annual Christmas exchange party and over the years I’ve collected many of our family favorites. The equivalent of the biscotti from my nonna is the Rococò recipe I have up on the videos. Thank you so much for watching. 💖
