Like all intuition liners they are made to be molded / boot fitted, something usually seen more often in ski industry. I work as a boot fitter (mostly ski and snowboard, but also blades, ice skates, hiking shoes, mx boots, etc) and a liner like this never gets sold without a proper measuring/fittment session, good debate and the whole molding process. Or you need to be willing to take a bit more time to break them in (but the end results might vary). In any case amazing technology and liner when used correctly, just like mentioned in the video.
On my second set of them 909s First pair Stock liners Good skates, could wear for a hour or so before they became painful Second pair has the v2 intuition liners and I can wear them with no issues for 4 hours Best skate liner combo in my opinion
I really like the style of your videos. It’s so much more serious and informative, no marketing bs but clear opinions and really good skating. Thanks Corey and greetings to Pennsylvania!
The biggest reasons I love the FR1 Intuition and the Intuition V2 liners: - Due to their height they compensate for high flex cuffs - Thin yet comfortable foam makes it super responsive while making longer rolls possible - Even when not perfectly molded to your foot they don't cause blisters btw. i am not an aggressive skater. i am also rather casual about free skating but roll on almost a daily basis as long as the weather allows for it.
I guess im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can offer me
@Bishop Zion thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I think the problem with Law's Intuitions is that the Them Intuition liners are padded for the low end of each shell's size range, and he's on the high end. I have the same shell and liner size as him, but my feet are a centimetre and a half shorter, so I love them.
Fair point. I’ve never skated the THEM intuitions, but I am the same amount oversized for the size liner I run. Knowing how often Lawrence gets out to skate vs. how long it took me to break my liners in, I don’t fault him at all for not using them. I thought his comments about them when he did his final review on the 909s was accurate. They’re great if you skate regularly, but if you only get out for ≈1hr a week, it’s not worth the investment.
Also the Themtuitions AKA Them intuitions collab liner they are shorter thn the regular intuition liners. I fit a XS intuition liner pretty good, butt the Them intuition liners XS hurt like hell. Thank God the new them skates that come with intuitions have individual sizing now! Wish they did this earlier so I didn’t have to go through the pain and buy $200 liners that still hurt after a month of skating! Individual liner sizing issue solved so things can only go up from here! Once broken in they are great liners!
Hello, nice video Corey 👍🏽 I have a question: I just got the FR1 Deluxe Intuition 80 in 47-48 (31-32 MP) size but my feet size is 29 CM, should I change them for a 45-46 size?
Does the intuition liner work in the rollerbladeblade women's twister edge? I am currently having a lot of pressure points the more I skate in my twister edge and I'm just wondering whether the intuition liner can solve my pressure points issues?
MOE English Tutor Singapore it’s hard to say. That boot is particularly narrow. A friend of mine had better luck with a reign v3 liner in the twister shell. That or a MyFit 2nd skin may be a better option for you vs the intuition. Again, everyone’s foot is different so I can’t say for certain. The intuition could be a good fit, or you may need a different boot altogether. Sorry I can’t provide a definitive answer for you.
I think it will for sure from what I’ve read. Also those ezee fit (on Amazon) or my myfit booties could help and skatefreshasha puts soft silicon spacers meant for stilettos inside the neoprene booty where the ankle bone is.
Did you have any issue with your heal when in the liner and in the skate raising up a little bit? Is that part of the break in period or do you have any tips to prevent the liner from moving in the shell?
So I added shoe goo to the heel of the liner and it fixed the lifting issue. It also got rid of the awful scronching sound that comes with that. Highly recommend
I would ask if you removed the heel pad the aeons came with and the footbed and just used the intuition heel bad and shoe goo to the bottom of the shell. Also for anyone with UFS(not Aeons) are you able to get the liner out after you glue it down? I have a pair of Roces M12 LO ECOs with Myfit liners that slide even worse. Just afraid if I glue the boot I won’t be able to get it out to swap frames?
@@ahmadi3718 I’m not sure. Probably best to just skate it. The more you skate them, the better they feel. Mine are 2 years old now and still feel better every day.
The comfort on these is insane I sized up a bit but I’m rocking a footprint technology insol underneath the liner. I left wet socks in them a couple of times unfortunately, I think I want to give them a vinegar wash in tepid water soon
Everything from heating the toe box up and shoving a tennis/baseball in to mold the plastic, to cutting part of the toe box open on top. There’s an aeon group on Facebook with a lot of good information
Just wanted to update for anyone else having tightness issues. I used the tennis ball mod on the toe box shell and also heat moulded 3x. Now they are feeling amazing breaking in and becoming the best liners. So responsive. Thanks Corey for the reassurance, i honestly didn’t think these would work in my aeons. But with the time and work they are great.
The cuff bolts on my USD Aeons kill me every time I skate... So, I have been looking for a new liner. Do these prevent the cuff bolts from stabbing me in my ankles?
Before you buy new liners, verify the cuff bolt receptors are in the correct positions. They are not identical. The ones with the number 1 on them go on the outsides. 4 goes on the inside of the left foot. 6 goes on the inside of the right foot. If they are not positioned correctly, they will not sit flat. What model of aeon?
@@mosalsa807 oh man. You could try grinding parts of the receptors down. I know on my lomax I had an issue with the top of the boot was digging into my ankles. I thought it was the cuff bolts but it was the top of the boot mold pushing inward.
@@coreyenglish8706 What do you recommend using to grind them down? I have seen that people have used a dremel but I dont have one, unless I buy one lol
@@mosalsa807 I would ask around and see if anyone you know has one. Otherwise the quick and dirty way would be to sand the receptors on some concrete or asphalt. Don’t recommend it, but it would be an option.
How do the Intuition fit feet that are E width, but skinny/low volume? I’m assuming when you say they’re better for support, you mean if you can actually get a tight fit? Are these better for people with high volume feet, or will they work for people with skinny legs and ankles too?
tho these companies need to bring back that puffy cloud like liners. these Performance Liners...feel like cardboard...and iv been in this ish since early 90s
Different strokes for different folks. I’m going on 3 years with my intuitions and I love them more every session. Never really liked puffy liners. Reign and myfit seem to make good options for those looking for a more “comfortable” fit.
@@coreyenglish8706 yes this is facts , i ride myfits rn, and believe it or not Stock liners in a few pairs of razors. nothing compares to a Jug ,atleast not yet. if my Jug aragon4s would still fit that be amazzzing lol

Always heat mold. Use an oven and toe caps to break them in. Dont worry about using insoles either...they're that damn comfy!
I'm about to pull the trigger and was wondering about insoles. Thanks for the info
I use insoles on mine to reduce the pronation of my skates. Works a dream.
