My brother Steve introduced me to this tribute , as A fan of Leonard Cohen I made time to watch and listen. I am now rewatching fully moved. My wife whose name is Marian is currently dying from a degenerative brain disease, is particularly moved by So long Marianne.
Besides Leonard Cohen's wonderful music and lyrics this interpretation is such a wonderful blend of voices, harmonies, instruments and setting. Even technicalities like audio mixing and camera work are 10/10 and Leonard would have really enjoyed watching this magical evening. Thanks to the Swedish television for setting this up as a very fitting tribute to one of the most influential and inspiring artists throughout my whole life.
