Tanjiro was not the baby in the dream. Remember that Tanjiro said (in Season 2, “Layered Memories” episode) that his father was born with a faint scar on his forehead. The man in the dream, though he looked like Tanjiro, had no scars on his forehead. In addition, the Swordsman with the earrings called him Sumiyoshi. Tanjiro’s dad’s name is Tanjuro (as he told Haganezuka in Season 1, “My Own Steel” episode). Tanjuro was always seen wearing an orange colored checked haori (coat).
I believe it was Kanroji’s sexy ASMR whisper at the end that overwhelmed Tanjiro and made him nosebleed. Before that, he was not affected at all by her charms. It doesn’t mean he likes her.
Without spoiling anything new, the man with the earrings will be more involved in this arc. Sumiyoshi - Tanjiro's ancestor- already said in the dream that *he has no heirs* , therefore, he doesn't have a child. Also, Tanjiro's dad's name is Tanjuro, and he is born with the mark, though it is not in the shape of a flame like the man with the earrings has. One very important thing you must know is that the man with the earrings is in no way blood related to the Kamados.
1. The reason(s) of Akaza hate Doma, not only Doma rank up faster than him, but also the manner of Doma. You can notice Doma said one thing(which made Akaza mad) before he got the first punch. 2. Please notice the person in Tanjiro's Dream(wearing sword one) is the one who created the first breathing technic(Sun breathing which mentioned in Season 2 Ep8), it was at least more than 113 years ago(since the Upper Rank Demon had be killed). 3. If the person who created the first breathing technic was alive in 113 years ago(at least, should be more), and then the person(name Sumiyoshi) who very look-like Tanjiro cannot be Tanjiro's father(same reason), also Tanjiro's father named Tanjuro(it was mentioned in Season 1 Ep4, the first time meet Mr Haganezuka).

@@NerdishReact Hope you read this, it's not a spolier. Already mention in S1 Ep 3, Tanjirou mention to Haganezuka dan his parent are Tanjuro and Kie. His father had a birth mark on the forehead (S1 Ep 19) just like Tanjiro in S1 Ep 1. Sumiyoshi is not Tanjiro's father and the baby is not Tanjiro. The flame head guy is not Tanjiro's father either. Sumiyoshi amet with the guy hundreds years ago. Tanjiro's father died of sickness pre-series. Tanjiro and Sumiyoshi did mention their whole family are charcoal seller their whole life. Demon Slayer are very much different than any other anime that usually show the heroes parent always the most badass character.
As for the nose bleed are always symbol a guy can't hold his temptation after be tempted by female characters. Example like Tanjiro trying hard not to look at Mitsuri's boobs and then she's whispering to his ear like flirting with him. It doesn't mean a guy or girl like the other person. If you watch Dragon Ball, Master Roshi always got his nose bleed after seeing a girl Bulma naked body. That doesn't mean he likes her, it just he wants her body only.
I actually like him more than akaza. At least, story wise, he is more interesting. I just wish his character was fleshed out more. Him, Koku, and Nakime are very interesting demons.
