Its so annoying that like so many reactors don't focus even that much on this show. Same is with upper ranks. Everyone think that there isn't any bigger reasons for why they are ranked on their place than how strong they are.
Coz they are so focused on how their exaggerated reactions will appear on screen, and they forgot to zone in on the show. They kinda remind me of rt tv but scaled down honestly.
I'll explain with no spoilers. Tanjiro's father, Tanjuro, had passed at the beginning of the series. So UM 1 cant be Tanjiro's dad. And the Upper Ranks hadnt been summoned for over 100 year therefore UM 1 being Tanjiro's dad is quite literally impossible given the time intervals. Also, in the flashback, the guy with long hair is the person you saw in Daki's memory flashbacks when she fought Tanjiro. The original sun breather. And the guy who looked like Tanjiro, is one of Tanjiro's ancestors, named Sumiyoshi as said in the episode. So essentially Tanjiro was seeing through the eyes of his ancestor who looked just like him, that being Sumiyoshi.
One of the many things I love about this show is how delightfully silly it can be, and all the fun little touches the humor involves. In that little clip of Zenitsu in the mountains, his scarf has Chuntaro's ( his sparrow) feather color pattern. Also, Tanjiro getting hate mail from his swordsmith will always be hilarious! Can't wait to experience the rest of Season 3 with all of you!
Finally my girl mitsuri is here, and for the question of who controls tge infinity castle, nakime does it, shes the biwa lady with black hair (dont know if you guys already get that because I paused to coment right after you asked that)
Not even close, man. Not even related. Tanjiro's dad does not look like that. Rewatch previous seasons that clearly show Tanjiro's dad. The samurai, Yoriichi, is also in no way blood related to Tanjiro. Pay attention! It's all in the show. No manga needed.
Ok lets go: the woman and the man in tanjiros dream is sumiko (I think thas her name) and I forgot her husband name, they both are tanjiros ancestors from ages ago, the swordsman we saw everytime is not bloodrelated to them, he just look like tanjuro (tanjiro father) but nothing more than that
Keep in mind each upper tank is ranked according to their strength. The gap between them is huge and the jump from upper 4 to the top 3 is even bigger so don’t underestimate any of them.
