Felling ! I am just a modern quilter thinking about historical sewing, and learned hand sewing from my momma. She never mentioned felling and this is the first i have heard it ! So good. Alternative to a french seam. Love it. Thank you !

You are so very helpful, I was really looking for some videos like this. Yes I am an old 56 year old reenactor getting a little blurry and shackey ,,,, he,he but really though I am. Just trying to give it another shot this year. Been out of it for many. I got a kit and was going to try and put it together over the winter.
Was hoping to find on on a B and B Tart pants kit. But the hand sewing techniques are essential ,, thank you so very much ! You guys Rock !

Very interesting and informative, I may pick up a 50’s or 60’s housewife for my Vietnam impression, as it is very helpful to sow rips and tears.

The British Army called the housewife a " Hussiff" just a contraction of houswife. Filled with exactly the same sort of things.
