How he revived Emul gave me a chuckle (fun fact the sunraku's VA & Emul's VA are actually married, so their scenes together in my opinion, are always more endearing to watch :) (hope we get to the king of rabitza soon).
I did liked the fact that while they more than willing to yeet each other into deatrh to save their own asses they understand when to stay quiet. Both Pencilgon and Oikatzo could have easily spilled the tea (not for free obviously) about other rabit as well as cat they chose to keep quiet instead
The sacrifice of Emul was a shocking surprise. I didn't think Sonraku would have pulled such as stunt, but then again his teammates are Pencilgon and I forgot the other one's name. And they were literally looking to destroy him once the opportunity became available. But now with key information begin presented, passed around, and even negotiated, we get to a point in which, an alliance it being negotiated with 2 of the biggest guilds, one that represent the history of the game, while the other wants to preserve the cutest beasts/animals in the entire game. Oh boy!! But still, that was disgusting that Emul was the sacrifice and afterwards lied to with a promise of the ultimate dessert, all paid for by Sonraku, after being squeezed to near death by the leader of the "animal handler" herself. Really looking forward to next week and see what's going to happen next. Until next time, Enjoy!! PS. bad Sonraku.....BAD BOY!!!
Awesome worldbuilding, lore and mythos drop about the Seven Colossi, the Unique Monsters, in this episode. Can't wait to see more references to Wezaemon and Lycagon, and to meet Ctarnidd (octopus), Siegwurm (the dragon) and Orchestra. Also, where is Vysache (Vash)? We have not seen him in a while. Also, I like how ambitious Arthur is as clan leader. She fleeced The Library's Professor for the Tome of Truth,, already knows the leader of Schwarz Wulf (Momo/Psyger-100) IRL and knew how to calm Animalia (leader of SF-Zoo). Wolfgang's insignia is awesome. I don't think that is in the manga.

That betrayal is savage, haven't seen that happen in my time while playing Eve-Online and I was in a pretty backstabbing guild. Resulting in real great friends outside the game 😇 As for the equipment you see in the opening it does look attached but the marks are still there. So my guess is they are seen as weapons or handheld as it seems the helmet and not the full set of armor. So far the opening spoils so much that he will keep the marks, either by his own free will as it probably needed for Lycan's unique plot quest.

I’m sorry…… I would’ve done the same as sunraku. As from the results of this episode, interesting things are coming and sunraku is gonna be at the center, especially because I’m gonna bet my life that the requirement for Lycagons unique scenario is probably getting her to acknowledge you and gaining the mark. Even though it’s well known how to get rid of the mark, we’ve only ever heard of sunraku having it, since she acknowledged him as worthy prey Im guessing she’ll only give it to those worthy.
What you said about Lycagon’s mark is true, I think. The flavor text says that the cursed mark shows the player is worthy prey, and Shangri-La Frontier is definitely the kind of game where the flavor text isn’t just decoration, it *means* something. I’d go so far as to say that if the players do remove the mark, she’ll take it as a sign that they’re cowards and will either never appear before them again, or merc them so savagely that they’ll be almost traumatized by it’s ferocity. She’s trying to separate the wheat from the chaff, find the prey that is more than just chew toys to be gnawed on and eaten. Normally, I’d praise the devs for creating such an amazing boss, but while they made her skill set and base personality, SLF’s ai is something else, and her personality is probably something that grew to what it is today.
@@coltonwilliams4153 I so so so love your comment cause you've beautifully expressed my exact thoughts and feelings as to why I love Lycagon as a boss alone but also her relationship with the players ESPECIALLY especially with Sunraku. The fact that Sunraku's the only one to walk the walk and talk the talk with "Sooty's" Marks, even if it is unintentional on his part, I feel very excited as to what unique "Unique Scenario" Sunraku and gang will meet when we meet her again. Also, a part of me hopes that we get to keep Sooty somehow in spirit after we finish her quest preferably for me a summonable Mini-Sooty lol (and also the mark of course hopefully; Sorry Sunraku xd).
I love episodes that drop fat info like we got more information about some of the other bosses. Also might be other ways for people to get into rabbit city so lets see where next episode going really looking forward to it and Poor Emel 😅.

They deserve a seat at this table ironically Schwartz is the one with the least to bring to this table currently in the manga.

The C'tarrnid fight will most likely be S4. But the first half of the arc will be S3. Because the arc starts we go do another arc and then we come back.
The arc is about to start in 2 weeks this season, maybe 3, when he first meets Rust and Mordo, that's how that arc opens up. That's why he starts his journey to another city in the first place.
1st half is the mech game the next half might be the tournament arc it's unknown where they are going to end it but I know for a fact based on the opening we will see NH for the first half and 2nd half might be the tournament arc.

We might see the golden scorpion at the end of the next episode, and only after that fight NH happens, which might be episode 6, leaning towards 7, of the current season (chapter 71/72 till chapter 77). I could see this part ending early on episode 9 wich will give them 3 episodes to pan everything out in the remaining 5 chapters till the season's main fight starts. The Lycagon fight starts at chapter 83 and lasts 13 chapters, i'll assume it will be covered in 4 episodes like Wezaemon which had the same amount of chapters for the encounter. TL;TR: second half of the season will most likely start off with starting the lycagon fight

I think Sunraku might loose his acess to Rabituza without the mark, so he will have to get it again laterto proceed with the unique scenario.
