    When Dubai builds structures in the desert, all of you applaud. When an Indian state does the same or even better, you are hoping for their downfall. I am from Kerala but i hope that my state and all other states show such vision and enterprise. Gujarat must succeed and inspire others to initiate.

      @@gauravrakshe7651 Surat is diamond City, not other cities. Learn basic geography & it's impact first. Secondly, gujrat's population is business minded, always have been as long as we know about history. 3rdly, all the projects were promised but never started due to opposition from then central govt, now only they got time to build these.Gujrat is also a coastal state right in central west of India ,making it equally accessible for both north and southern businesses. My state haryana and your state will need more ground work as we are not merchant community to begin with. Every state have businessman but that doesn't make them state of businessman. I also trust Gujarati more because they are more kind & polite than any other state, including my own.
      When people think of gujrat, they think about people who love to donate to needy, innovative people, knowledge of basic vocabulary of any customer they are attending, I have seen gujrati street vendors trying to talk with customers in broken Spanish, English and other languages that the customer understand.
      Do you think other state have those? Because I doubt.
      Also the public trust their govt to bring changes & developed,they follow rules. Look at condition of sabarmati and then at other river of country. Look at any river in gujrat and other in neighbouring countries.I haven't seen them throwing gutka on road, never seen them fighting others on road rash like we see in Delhi, haryana or UP. Never seen them hating other's languages like we see Karnataka or Tamil Nadu. Never seen their politician to stop work in progress of an upcoming city because previous govt promised that, unlike we saw in Andhra pardesh. I may not be gujrati but I would rather do business from any part of gujrati land even a less developed part.
      And all these things matter.Not just a concrete building , foundation should be there first, that foundation is mindset of people & society that those businesses is gonna face. If your child is showing promises of brighter future, would you with your limited budget, spend on a unskilled child ignoring the potential prodigy or would you make sure fast learner get skills first so you can rest assured and focus on building skills in others later?.
      You need money to make money. These projects will get govt money, gujrati also pay highest number of taxes. How many people you know around you who pay taxes?? Is modi behind people of patel surname being buisness owners all around world for over multiple decades?

    Loads of people are commenting about it being a white elephant etc etc and comparing it with govt infra. One should understand that its a private building built by an association of traders. such projects have long gestation time and results will be there to be seen in decades.

    • @harshnaik6989
      @harshnaik6989 3 месяца назад +3

      in decades, you don't know what will going to happen, so infra is made as per the current necessity otherwise we had seen many such projects who does not have any takers, like China ghost towns and many other Chinese useless projects, these projects are just waste of public money.
      As Infra ages its value also degrades, so in decades this building will also get decades and thus reducing it's value further

      @marshalLannes1769 UAE had more oil money than they knew what to do with once they struck oil. Now, can a country with 1.2B population and GDP per capita of ₹2500 say the same? Next, countries should invest in higher technologies to leapfrog. Nehru did that with ISRO, BARC, DRDO and many more. That benefits the entire nation. Not like this clown show which is going to be a white elephant using 50 year old obsolete tech which is already redundant while the rest of the world moves to maglev, we gonna be stuck with this junk paying off the loan till 2074. Modi won't be around to reply then. Next, I've been to Japan myself and I have travelled extensively in the Shinkansen. Even the average Japanese doesn't commute - it's a privilege only for a few elites.
